Help/comment required for this AMD rig to play AION or Final Fantasy XIV

All price listed is in Singapore dollars. Total is about Singaopore $1880, which comes to about USD1,325. Please comment on what need to be change is needed or is this good enough to run Aion or any latest games in town at maximum settings:

AMD Phenom 2 X3 720BE + Biostar Motherboard TA790GX A3+ = Singapore $363

2 X 2 Kingston Value Ram DDR3 1333 = Singapore $98

Samsung SATA DVDRW = Singapore $31

Western Digital Hard Disk 640 Blue = Singapore $95

Casing Cooler Master 600 Gladiator = Singapore $106

PSU Aerocool 650w = Singapore $155

Acer X233H 23" LCD monitor = Singapore $259

Vista HP 64 operating system = Singapoer $138 (check for upgradeable to Win 7 version)

Speaker of choice = Singapore $90

Palit HD 4870X2 (promotional price - I know this is super cheap! That is why i am getting it) = Singapore $549

Total = Singapore $1853 or USD 1,325

 

Note: One thing i am concern thought is whether i have enough cooling.

I am not sure what FFXIV wil require but that video card is massive overkill for aion.  I would suggest spending more on teh CPU (AMD X4 955 or 945) and getting a 4890 vid card or a 4850x2 for that 1920X1080 rez.  Unless you have a high high resolution monitor that that vid card may be a bit much.....

Side note.. 100% aluminum case (NO PLASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) will help in you cooling.

Tibbz is 100% correct, dump the 4870X2 for a lighter card and step up the cpu. You wont get near the bang for your buck on the 4870 without a cpu to keep up with it. id say go HD4890.
