FF XIV sounds like Vanguard done right!... And brad mcquaid's new movie?

Seriously with the armory system and the different realms of play they are going to have like crafting and gathering it sounds just like how Vanguard was originally supposed to play out.
I for one am very intrested in the game, and hope that my time after Aion will be filled by this game. Is there any other vanguard vets out there who think this game could fill the void vanguard left with us?
Could this be the game that finally delivers us on the promise that brad mcquaid made all those years back?
On that note has anyone seen anytihng about this movie yet?
