AC2 trial problem

I just downloaded AC2 trial and it says i need a CD key...i can purchase one for 12.95....but that's not free is it? So how do i get a CD key for this thing??

You need to click on the AC2 Trial icon on your desktop. It installs both the full version of Asheron's Call 2 and the trial version, so when you finish the trial, you can buy a CD-Key to subscribe. You were probably clicking on the Asheron's Call 2 icon, not the trial icon.

Also after it does all the updates it will restart AC2 but not the trial version. You will need to close it again and restart the AC2 trial shortcut.
