Well, looks like lots and lots of interest in Dragon Age. Awesome. I am not sure about Borderlands, I keep vacillating on whether that game is for me or not. I love the wealth of weapons, not so sure about gameplay.
As for Mass Effect 2, I haven't scratched the surface of the first game yet. But hoping both those games are good.
As far as MMO's go, SW:TOR trumps everything else but in the meanwhile, gonna give Champions a go and hope for the best.
Oh, and The Secret World sounds so awesome, but its 3 years away and will probably not live up to the hype so, trying to restrain my enthusiasm.

(Divine Divinity was one of the best rpgs I have played. It was essentially a 2d version of Morrowind/Oblivion. Their sequel is little known but I have no doubt it will be one of the top upcoming rpgs.)

3. Risen (PB are the developers who made the Gothic franchise. Due to their publicher Jowood forcing early release dates, their deep RPGs were often riddled with bugs. This time they are free of Jowood, and while losing their franchise have been working on their next new fantasy world. This is it.)
They say Guild Wars 2 will be announced for 2009, but I have my doubts, thus not part of the list.
Top 3 possibilities for 2010. Just a toss up at this point.
1. GW2
2. Diablo 3 (wouldnt be surprised with an early 2011 launch, bliz take their time)
3. Infinity (this is a WIP title, the concept alone is jaw dropping. It is a space sim in which you can fly down and land on planets with actual landscapes and detail. Cities can be built, destroyed, it merges both land and space. Probably not a 2010 release, but you never know. Worth keeping an eye on.)
