Pre-Ordered Last Week. Did I miss it?

in Aion

I pre-ordered Aion last Friday. By the time I got the game downloaded and installed, it was Saturday at noon. I try to log into the game and I am told "Your account does not have access to Aion."  the schedule on the site says the next beta is this Friday, but I hear others who mention that hey played last weekend?

 

My account says I am good to go, so I am confused about a few things. Did people get to play last week?

    Next beta starts this friday. you cant log on until then.

    Next (and last CB) is this Friday starting at 3pm EST.

    Yes but like a time? Because I won't be able to play on friday or saturday (maybe late sunday) so I'd like to get in as much playing time as possible before it ends. So does it end Midnight sunday night EST? or what? if you don't know it doesn't really matter but anyone who does know that would be great.

    Also I presume so, but is the 3:00 EST afternoon? or moning?

    I've heard if you click your mouse fast enough on the launcher, some people are able to get into Beta now...

    3 pm eastern time friday it starts and ends 3 pm eastern time on monday.

    I'm surprised you even managed to get an account, not even knowing how the beta schedule is set up..

    If you get the "account does not have access..." message it's because your account is valid, but servers are closed.

    "Username and Password do not match" is the issue to worry about.

    Characters after this beta event will undergo a wipe, and then Open Beta will commence. Afterwards, there will be another wipe and our headstart begins :)

    As far as I know, and I would love someone to correct me because I'd like some more info too, there hasn't been a confirmed date for open beta.

     

    My assumption is since we had access to CB we will have access to OB.

    Oh brilliant I can play all sunday night and all monday then :D - lots of red bull and coffee to try out aion for the first time- im so excited !

     

    btw I have one other question ( people on this forum must be getting sick of my questions), but - I've downloaded the EU client because I'm in the UK but of course the beta this weekend is NA. Does this make any difference? (if it helps when I try to log in it says :

     

    "ID or Password incorrect" - Now I know they are correct for the account I set up but I'm wondering if that account is for the NA client so it won't accept my username or if its just because the beta isnt open yet so everyone gets that message,

    bonus info: patching to the new CB this weekend may start even as early as tomorrow, so make sure to get the patcher going so youre 100% ready for friday  :)

     

    wouldnt wanna waste CB-time on patching :)

    what do you mean by patching?

    If the developers make any changes or tweaks, it changes the build and you have to patch it. Could be a name change, or a big fix, or content change.

    No one played last week (beta week speak being it ending on a monday). Next is Noon left coast time on the 14th. The "your account...." business isn't specific to your account, but everyone until they open it up. It's possible that some of the people playing last weekend you refer to were using a chinese server, not NA/EU.
