All of this is very entertaining BUT all the while, hundreds of people are being reeled in MMOGULS under the false pretense that MMOGULS will now have the StarGate Worlds game to play, with MGM's blessing and full knowledge.
Whiting himself was a guest speaker, more like ADD ranting, on one of the last conference calls, hosted by the new Mormon President and CEO, Don Carroll. Carroll a seemingly prominent and honorable Mesa businessman, is either an original investor in CME and trying to get his investment back by promoting MMOGULS or his is just plain dumb enough to go for the Whiting BS and does not have a clue what a MLM is or what is going on in MMOGULS. I suspect it is a some of both.
On this conference call, they had no problem making a direct connection between CME, MMOGULS and MGM Studios.. He also suggested that the success of both revolved around GW raising more money to finish the game, so both companies will be successful.
Then why, when my downline members call Tim Jenson direct, does he still say the CME and MGM have absolutely nothing to do with MMOGULS. Jenson even insults the MMOGULS members intelligence by saying he has no idea what GW is doing with MMOGULS, but yet they sit 30 feet from each other..
This is all one big scam, everyone knows it, no one wants to do anything about it, because they all sit in hope Whiting will pull another Mormon rabbit out of his hat, one with $$$$$$$..
Soon, very, very soon this house of cards will fall...
I know what you're saying but the way I see it now is that firstly CME is dead and it is merely a matter of officialy announcing it's over. Whiting will hang it out aslong as possible inorder to keep MMOGULs going, but no one is investing anything. Whiting has been trying for a year to get investment and has nothing to show for it, if he could get any investors he'd have done it long ago. CME has no money, no employees and maybe no license from MGM, remember he can still make a stargate game without a license but he needs it to release it.
As for MMOGULs, there's enough warning out on the web now for anyone that can use google. Anyone buying into MMOGULs now is just a poor sap that is going to get shafted. I don't see what more can be done to prevent it, so I say just keep on informing people when possible and let it live out its natural life. Like all pyramid schemes it will die off leaving a bunch of people poorer but hopefully wiser. My concern was the marriage of an MMORPG and a pyramid scheme, it seems now that this will not happen. Even if it did, thanks to the efforts of the community here I doubt it would last long before crumbling.
So as I see it Gary Whiting has two failed projects on his hands wether SGW/SGB launches or not. He even confirms it by doing a dodgy divorce with his wife to remove the toxic assets and keep the cash he has embezzeled. I know it's over and so does Gary, all that remains is for him to be punished.

Not only do I find it amusing, it is funny as hell... The pictures are hilarious.. The guy even looks creepy..Makes you want to wash your hands..
One thing I never do is under estimate a crook like GW, on his last leg, trying to keep the fraud and Ponzi going. These people are the most dangerous when they get caught, because then they really dont give a damn.
GW found the money to pay some CME payroll and MMOGULS payroll, dont know if he pulled it out of the ground or what. He just had a judgement awarded and filed against him from a vendor for $17,000. It may seem small BUT it got his attention..
What will really get his attention is a Federal Bankruptcy Judge.............
Already been done! Starwars is already in it's second reiteration. There's hope for Starget yet, especially if Bioware gets a hold of it.
Why would Bioware or in fact any games company want Stargate Worlds now? Gary Whiting has dragged the Stargate name through the dirt and then some. In all SGW looks like a dieing game.

The forums have dragged CME and SGW through the dirt not Whiting. Whiting is his own worst enemy, but the forums have hurt the developers and the company as much as Whiting. It seems hard for people on the forums to separate Whiting from the Company. He does control it - but he is not the company. Talk to anyone at the company except Whiting and they will tell you that the company is not involved with MMOGULS and that they are still working to get a game out despite the negative forums and despite Whiting's antics. Start a Whiting forum if you want to bash him - but why are we pulling down the company and hurting the developers?
Whiting is the leader of the company and as owner & Board of Director, the pulse of CME whether you like it or not.
Companies usually remove bad managers/officers/directors that have indiscretions outside of the work environment that reflect poorly on the company. Since you cannot remove Whiting, then your only recourse is to leave the company.
Talking about the shenanigans of team Whiting does not hurt the developers, Whiting hurts the developers. Anyway, the company currently exists of a few diehard fools that have not gotten the hint and moved on.
Please, enough Khestral! We're hurting the developers? Last time I looked it was Whiting that hadn't paid them for 5 months, it was Whiting that has forced their houses into foreclosure, it was Whiting that caused marriages to break up, it was Whiting that had left their kids without health insurance, it was Whiting using money that should've gone to their families at Christmass to set up a pyramid scheme need I go on?
Whiting is the owner and CEO, the buck stops with him. You know it, I know it, the DEVs know it. The DEVs have suffered not because a few crazies like myself post on forums about what Whiting has done but because of what Whiting has done. It's like saying "Talk to anyone at Enron except upper managment and they will tell you the company is not involved in shady business practices. They own the company but they are not the company". And how can they still be working at getting a game out when there's less than 5 people working there? Wake up and smell the coffee man, I don't see how a DEV at CME can blame myself or anyone here on these forums or any forums for the shitty situation at CME.
If all this hurts the DEVs feelings and makes them sad then my soloution is to get back to work and make the game, WTF are they doing lurking on forums when they're (allegedly) working hard on SGW? Oh yeah that's right they're not because they're working at other companies making real MMORPGs like Jumpgate Evoloution. The five guys left at CME are lurking on forums and making bologne posts like this for a free lunch.

When an employee knowingly works for a company whose Chairman raises millions of dollars from who knows how many investors, representing a product you KNOW is not near completion, when a employee continues to take a paycheck, knowing deep inside how the money is being raised, like the CEO Tim Jenson or the past CFO and Corporate Counsel, you are nothing more than a accessory to the fraud.
If a person knowingly worked for a company whose founder was a drug dealer, and you knew he was laundering millions of dollars in drug money through the company, would you expect someone to feel sorry for the employees or company if the drug dealer was busted and took everyone down with him?? Well what's the difference???

Most of what you are saying is what you've learned on these forums - it is not FACT - it is entertainment!
While everyone likes to bash Whiting and it seems he has clearly done a lot of very stupid things. Nothing you state about him has been proven to actually be true. CME and Whiting are not the same. Whiting's controlling interest does not make him the same as CME. The 49% minority investors certainly don't want to be lumped in with Whiting. The employees work for CME - not for Whiting, not for MMOGUL's! If Whiting has done the things you mention, then every minority investor and employee and CME would love to see him in jail - but until some evidence is produced (if it exists) and until due process (I think people are still innocent until proven guilty in the country even though that is not the case on the forums or in the pubic arena), the employees, officers and investors continue to try to keep the company alive and moving forward. Just because the majority owner is a crook (if he is), does not make everyone who associates with him a crook - and I am certain that none of the investors, employees or officers are collaborating with Whiting - they endure (resentfully) some of his actions, but they do not condone, agree with or collaborate with such actions - they focus on the developement of the game not on the politics.
