Internal drives vs external drives

I was wondering what are some of the differences, besides portability, transfer speed and what not.

I need more space for my videos and stuff, was thinking about buying 1TB of internal memory for my pc, but then i wonder if buying an external drive would be better since is safer to hacks and i can take it anywere i want

What do you people think???

And for game are velociraptors any better?

If you watch The Karate Kid backwards it's about this karate champ that just kinda slowly becomes a pussy and ends up moving back to Jersey

If you get an external drive, try to get an E-Sata drive if your computer supports it. Its transfer speeds will be near the same as an internal drive.

A raptor will only affect the load times for a game and the patching time. The biggest bottle-neck on a system is getting data on and off a hard drive. So most programs are designed to make little use of transfering data off a hard drive.
