It'd would be nice to see some reviews that are based on pure gameplay fact and not opinion. . Theres been plenty of opinions posted while the NDA was in effect.
Now that the NDA is past, perhaps someone can post an account of actual gameplay experience. As an example: How grouing bonuses work, the percentage per number of members, xp distribution in questing, solo, how many towns, how many different types of merchants, etc. (rather than just saying "GroUping sUxXors!").
Or maybe gameplay issues based on computer specs. I have read several differing opinions on lag issues, etc, but I have yet to see what the computer specs were behind the posts.
Screenshots would be great as well if acutal computer specs are listed to show the difference between various hardware.
Any facutal info on EQ2 and gameplay would be appreciated, but let's leave the personal opinions out this time, please? Thanks in advance!

Man, I think I already know all I need to know about this game. I just need to play it now to make it complete. Seems my luck has been on vacation with all these contests I've been losing. I guess there's still that chance of getting an invite directly from SOE since I signed up back in June.

Give it time. Thottbott will have a breakdown of every single thing in the game soon enough. Down to the last decimal point. Sorry if you're not satisfied that no one here ran everything through a parser just for you.
As to merchants, cities, etc. All that can be found on the main EQ2 site, or on pages like http://clanwhitestorm.com/eq2info/index.htm

She can't even ask for information? WTF the "satisfied... parser" crap came from is just boggling.
You were lucky enough to play the beta, but refuse to give information out without your slanted, biased opinion. That's fine - you certainly aren't required to share information.
But if you have a problem with people wanting relevant info then just don't post. She was specifically asking for information people rarely give. Facts rather than opinions. I dont see anywhere in the thread where she stated she wanted a breakdown of every single thing in the game, and a number of things she asked are not Throttbott type information.
It's insane to try and dig through the so-called reviews for relevant information. I think its a perfectly reasonable request. You don't apparently -- then just shove off.

Plenty of people have made posts explaining how grouping works and so on, in a purely mechanical sense. But of course since they weren't singing EQ2s praises the information on the game mechanics is somehow invalid. Other than that, she isn't going to find a review that doesn't involve an opinion. Unless someone has written a computer program that can write reviews somehow. It's going to be biased in one direction or another. But she'd rather make some snooty post, making poorly veiled potshots at the people that wrote less than glowing things about the game, rather than read the information that's already there.
If she wants the numbers behind the scenes, then yes, she will have to wait for Thottbot, or someone to parse things out. It doesn't tell you the group XP bonus, or that sort of thing.
As for the rest of the info she wanted, the link I gave should cover that nicely.
Well, if you don't want to look for information yourself, then you have no room to cry when you don't like the information given to you.
And I also, as I'm sure you noted, posted the link to Clan White Storms site, which compiles all the information nice and tidy like, so people don't have to sully their hands by going to the official forums.
I apologize if I somehow offended you Cold. I merely asked for any non-opinionated info. I used grouping as an Example as well as several other topics. Im tired of seeing screnshots for ex. rated one way or the other and not knowing what hardware they were made with. Same with most other topics.
I dont wish to read glowing or otherwise opinions about the game in hopes I might uncover relevant information. I prefer to make my own opinion.
My post was not meant to be "snooty" and I dont appreciate the insult. You had no need to accuse me of "making poorly veiled potshots at the people ", when I am only asking for information. You could have simply left the link (which I appreciate btw) and left it at that.

Anywy, I posted my computer specs, as well as a relatively nonopinionated review of stuff in Rhoklaws BS thread. I've been posting screenshots taken as I'm playing right now. I even died getting those screens posted for you peoples enjoyment. If you have any specific questions while I'm in the game, and can look at things, that'd be the place to ask.
