V-13, also known as Vault 13, or FOOL, short for Fallout Online was to be made by Interplay but due to the license fight with Bethesda, they may lose the rights to make it.
Should this game see the light of day will you be following its development? Will you try to be among the first to follow it? What features would you hope to see in it? What would you not care to see in it?
As a huge FO3 nut, who is making a T51b costume.....I have to wonder if and when we will see this gem of a game. Or even OB:O, Oblivion: Online.
Sandbox, good systems in place, rich worlds waiting to be populated by players.....

I consider Fallout 3 to be as much a blight on the beloved Fallout name as BOS on the consoles was. I would like to see FOOL released by Interplay if only to deny Bethesda further opportunities to pillage my beloved memories. That said, my expectations are extremely low.
Due to the over ease of play in FO3, I play it heavily modded.
FOOK+FWE MR+CFW, then add RTSettler and Marts Mutant Mod and you have a game that feels more like FO1 &2. Turn off Vats and use Bullet Time instead
Welcome to the Wasteland made the game too tough imho.
Vanilla FO 3 is way to easy.

I'm so sad about how interplay messed up and must have signed the worst licensing contract ever... Giving fallout to Bethesda....
The last of the Trackers
Oh, puh-lease.
Bethesda saved Fallout, whether you like it or not. The "interplay" you're mourning over isn't even comprised of the same individuals as the "real" Interplay. Nothing more tha a name, like Infogrames naming themselves "Atari" to try to live off the name.
The worst licensing contract? Bethesda bought the Fallout rights but let Interplay keep the mmo rights, provided Interplay agreed to the terms. Interplay had, by contract, 2 years to show they had funding and then another two years to get the game at least started. Interplay couldn't do it. 4 fucking years and Interplay couldn't even get the game reasonably started in development. And now they cry foul that Bethesda is suing for the mmo rights back.
Just how long, in your opinion, should Bethesda have sat and watched Interplay fuck around and accomplish nothing with Bethesda's property? Without Bethesda buying Fallout in the first place, Interplay wouldn't have even had the chance to try to make an mmo, they were bust.
Personally, I'd rather have Bethesda making their version of Fallout, which is pretty goddamn good regardless of what people living in the 2d past try to claim, then have no Fallout at all.
