I personally think the internet has made people waaaaay to impatient...I mean people when it comes it comes......although its funny seeing people curse blizzard cause they didn't put ob out the day after they made the announcement...of course I won't play b/c i'm just going to wait till the 15th to play the game when I know that my chars wont be deleted.

On a side note, it's kinda sad to see everyone all uppity and freaking out because they won't give us open beta. You need to realize that Blizzard doesn't HAVE to give you a damn thing. Open Beta is more of a courtesy to the community, and a chance to get people hooked on the game, it is not a federally mandated proceedure. lol
So just get over it and be patient, becuase regardless of how butt-hurt you are over this or that, the fact of the matter is that your threats are empty. When and if open beta comes, you'll be right there alongside the rest of us, frothing at the mouth and ranting at Blizzard for only letting File Planet serve the $#17.
By the way, it's raining pretty hard here in SoCal and yet the people here refuse to slow down or drive in a cautious manner, I saw 8 accidents on my way home this morning... dumbasses.

Reason being, simple.  Bandwidth costs money, the longer you run a full blown open beta with 200-300,000 people, the more in the whole you go.  So, Im thinking Open Beta wont last more than a week to two max.

Yup, and I voted in the poll, and I submitted my IDEA as to when we'll see actual OB gameplay. 

That being said, it doesnt matter much to me either way...Open Beta is nothing but a test drive, and a waste of time for those in closed beta or that have done the stress test...nothing like scrambling to level up a character just to have it wiped for release.

Im just antsy waiting on the official public release...

I think Open Beta sign ups will start sometime next week maby Tuesday or Wednesday and then Open Beta will start the first week of November
