anyone have an unused key for open beta?

I pre-ordered from gamestop but they never e-mailed me info for open beta - if anyone has an extra key would you be so kind as to send it to me via private message?

Anyone else have problems with gamestop pre orders (online, not in store).?

If its a open beta you shouldn't need a key.

I pre-ordered today at Gamestop, but the guy didn't seem to know what was going on with Beta because they never received anything in-store.  He guessed that I would receive a key via e-mail, but it seems sketchy.

I'll take a key also via pm if anyone has one (and give mine away should it ever come, which seems doubtful...).

The pre-order stores will get the boxes later (close to the game release), but they already have access to the special keys (open beta and goodies like early start) and they sent emails with them.

--> Open beta: you need a key to do a registration, to post on the forums and to log in the game. Yeah its a *open beta*, they will let the close beta people (less than 15.000 ish) plus 50.000 from the hoster plus everyone with a pre-order play this week.

 

Call them (costume service) but not your local store... call the big phone in the webpage from the online store.

If you just pre ordered today at gamestop its likely they'r eout of keys.  Not all Gamestop Brick and MOrtal stores get keys and some only get keys for the pre orders they took in up to a certain date.   Unless you call them on the Phone and ask for an open beta key for your pre order and you have a way to verify your pre order you won't get one from Gamestop.  Try calling corporate it tends to work (sometimes). 

Never wait last min (unless your ordering online) to try and get a pre order beta key.

You don't need to Pre order in order to Post on the Forum boards they've had Open Forum Boards for ... quite a long time.  You only need a Beta Key to register for Beta but you can still register an account with the site.

There is also a "preview" site for beta testers, but from what I understand they are being merged now.

Hey thanks for your advice, Mate!  I called this morning and spoke with someone that said she would pass on the request and just received the beta code via e-mail tonight the same day (Sunday no less).

'open' as in open to discuss the game, ie: NDA is dropped, not open to the public.
