Look I agree that AV is a shitty company and poorly made the DF client.
But the amount of hackers this game has just shows how pitiful some players are.
Yeah put most of the blame on AV but I also put it on these cheating players that are ruining what could be a solid sandbox one day.

I know how this is done, and it needs to be fixed ASAP. No game is exploit free, not even the ole mightly WoW. The more harsh the game, the more hurt these exploits cause.

Why do some of the more "Vocal Fans" hold WoW in such a high regard? Just thought it was Odd. Ahh.. it's just part of the routine for the more rabid fans.
When it benefits or makes DF look better to bash WoW for "not being hardcore" or being "theme park", then they bash it.. call it a crap game... "Go back to WoW" seems to be the ultimate insult to some of them.
However, when it's something like bugs, exploits, etc... then WoW is elevated to a level where they can use it to downplay the problem. "Even WoW has exploits and botters...".. as though WoW is suddenly held in some esteem when it suits them.
Doesn't take much to see the hypocrisy at work. It's just another example of how they'll argue every side of the same issue when it suits them.

I use it as an example becaue of money. They are making money hand over fist with all the sheep playing that game. That allows them to have a ton of developers to further develope their game. That legion of developers miss plenty of dupes and exploites in Warcraft.
If Warcraft developers can't make a perfect game, who can? People keep pointing out Darkfall flaws as if every other game on the market is perfect.

Well, it's not all about money. With the handful of people DFO has, it is relatively easier to scan for hacks, exploits and such. 2 Servers also make this much simpler.
It is obvious that any kind of software is prone to exploiting. However, the developer can do many things to alleviate the problem. Is this happening at DFO? Not really, from what I read around the forums. And, c'mon, we all know that DFO's client is not exactly a masterwork.
Any PVP-heavy game should take this kind of thing most seriously, because instapopping PVE creatures is one thing, but having paying costumers as targets for this kind of abuse... well, that's not good for business.

I want to play/try DF - I really do. But from all that I have read the game revolves around leaving your PC on 24/7 for the first few x months. Honestly, I can't sleep at night when it's so loud, and my electricity bill would be too much to afford. And with no hard skill cap I see no end to it. If AV stop the grind and call it a day I will sub up now but until that day I will wait for Mortal.

if you wanna play 1vs1 then yes you need to do the afk macro if you play in group of ppl that have good team play you dont

It also seems that every game he plays dies. Darth, when SWG was falling apart around everyone's ears were you by any chance on their forum saying how perfect everything was with the game and that it had no flaws at all?
See a pattern? Tell the devs all is well and nothing changes, nothing gets better, and in the case of Darkfall it sadly is getting worse. But hey Darth, you keep smiling telling half truths while the rest of us try to get improvements. You are paret of the problem and the game does not benefit from your kind. You are hurting DF in ways you can't even see and it's a damn shame.

You must be confuse me with someone else, or show me the quotes. I tell people to go find them their favorite game if they can't handle DarkFall without mentioning any specific game because i cant imagine another one that is that good like DarkFall. DarkFall is the best MMO on the market right now.
