Will Aion have official forums?

Does anyone know if Aion will have official forums on their site?  In the past some ncsoft games have had forums and others have not.  City of heroes and lineage 2 both have official forums whereas, Tabula Rasa and guild wars do not.

    they have forums. they are only up during the beta but they will be up all the time when the game is released

    Source that the forums will be up at release?

     

    The beta forums are so they can lock down the discussion of the closed beta.  IE so people not in the beta don't participate in the discussions and taint the response.

     

    I havn't seen anything yet that states there will be official forums, but I sure as hell hope there are.

     yeah they are located at worldofwarcraft.com at the moment...

    I don't think they will. They may just rely on fan sites like Aion Global,  Aion source and so on.

    This could have pro's & con's if they elect to go that route.

    NCSoft generally has forums for it's games

    Guild Wars and Tabula where only published by NCSoft, they were not the creators / management. Arena Net and Destination games were.

    NCSoft hosts forums for all of their games. However NCSoft also heavily monitors them so there will probably be an unofficial Aion forum such as Aionsource.

    Unless you need technical advice, or any other pressing issue that you can't resolve in-game, (imo) official forums are best to be avoided - particularly at launch. Talk about a great way to dampen the experience.

    I don't find that to be necessarily  true.  True for some, maybe, but certainly not all.  Some of the official sites are the best places to go for advice on classes and such.   

    I'm guessing they will have a forum.  I can't see any reason why they would have forums for their other games and not this one.

    Ya'll are thinking about the use of official forums all wrong.  They're for telling stories and taunting your enemies...  duh
