Champions Online's character creation evolution (2560x1600 image)

Hi folk,

Well of course some will say it's very ugly but I have never seen any model this good. You have to muck about a bit but my old model-fav EQ2 is now in the dust.

I cannot say much after only a few hours of Champions online and this is really in The Pub at MMORPG.COM because I wanted to show what I think is the next step in character generation - it's not about Champions specifically but about what they did for the genre already.

I can tell you the creation of your toon has a good 'pen & paper background' feel to it (to the surprise of many no doubt) and thus,  want you to know  that Charaction Creation affects not only the outside, but also content: you can make your own AT (Arche Type, for ye CoX lovers) and you be truly unique from the get-go.

PS Forgive me for not cropping the picture I keep it whole for those who want to SAVE it to disk to have a good look. Others will have to scroll a bit :)

The big problems is that for every one person who can put together something cool...

100 people are stuck with a god aweful looking abomination.

Probably wouldn't look half-bad if the color scheme wasn't so mangled.
