Do you seriously think that Aion devs didn't play WoW when making Aion?
Maybe after playing aion they will come up with an "original" idea of aerial battles in wow next expansion /sarcasm
I don't see the point in this. I mean just because they are blizzard employees doesn't mean they ONLY have to play wow? They are still Human beings after all. Because you work at Mc Donalds does that mean all you eat are hamburgers?
XD if ya got pics lets post them up, cause I find them hilarious. You would think the other companies would manage to get their ppl into beta. These ppl shamelessly go and play it, and also get some ncsoft gift bags. It is funny

Yep and have same detail in aerial battles as in aion.
But that was not the case of this thread i think but probably some don't find it funny when wow is involved.

Hey it is a good MMO to play, so why wouldn't they take a test run to see how good it is.

look at the expression on the ncsoft guys face. It goes something like this.
Ncsoft guy: "Oh hey guys. Ummm, nice to see ya:
Blizzard Guys: "Sup dude. So we hear ya got this aion thingy coming out."
Ncsoft guy: "Umm, ya Sept 22."
Blizzard Guys: "Cool, cool. So I hear ya can fly! That's pretty cool. Say, can we test it out?"
Ncsoft: "Sure, ya can try the newest content too."

Blizzard guy: "O.O quick take notes!! flight, pretty graphics, nice engine......"
2 weeks later. Blizzard third expansion is revealed!!. WoW:Cataclysm. The old world is destroyed by a horrible event. The lands of Azeroth have been changed forever! Now the alliance and horde players have developed wings to travel in the new lands of Azeroth!!
Ok the expansion thing might be pushing it. Funny thing is....I'd probably give that expansion a try XD

Love how the OP lawls at Blizzard, it's video games, of course Blizzard employees are going to play Aion, Aion employees probably play WoW. I know for a fact that WAR devs played WoW while they were making WAR. It doesn't matter anyways, ideas spread so quick, it's hard to say who originated what concept in what game.
That's a pretty good way to know what the competition is doing well and implement it afterward... Unless they're bored of their game ? lol

really guys have you ever heard its a convention do you have proof except for the blizzard tees that they work for blizzard they could i mean god forbid be spectators that got a blizzard tee and decided they want to check out aion but i mean i guess that would just be total blasphemy
Ever gone to E3? Bunch of people from different companies all playing each others games.
E3 is alot of fun and I cannot wait to go back next year.
Gamers are gamers, sure they work for blizzard but they can play any game they want... They are gamers after all.

It's pretty standard business practice to check out what your competitors have to offer. If you don't you'll be going the way of the dodo.
