You CAN turn off the Comic Book Outlining (cell-shading) if you don't like it.

Don't know how many people know about this yet but I found out today that you can turn off the cell-shading for the game. And let me tell you, it looks A LOT better.

    Ohhh really?   I assume you are talking about that odd outline around your character and such.

    Can you please elaborate on how to do this, because that shit drives me nuts.

    I don't mind the cell shading on the environment, but the cell shading on the character is drawn with a way too thick line, which make the character unclear. So, I have turned it off too.

    Options => Video => Tick Show Advanced options

    Options => Video => Effects => Comic-style outlining = off

    I like the comic outlining. I think it looks better.. is there a way to make it more cell-shaded though? Or is that what you were talking about?

     Unfortunately I cant turn it on! Sorta pissing me off, a bunch of the Settings are grayed out. The devs arent sure yet why since my setup is so new. Hopefully I can get it up and running by the end of the night.

    If it could be done stronger, and Better I might like it. as it is I hate it. It just feels unfinished.

    If Post Processing is turned off a lot of the options under it are automatically turned off and grayed out.

    Can anyone post a pic with and without cell-shading? i'd like to see the difference.

    I got it! I turned OFF Antriscopic Filtering and the Options popped back on! HOLY MOLLY DOES IT LOOK GREAT! Everythings clearer now and the colors more pronounced. Im having to start over just to see things again hehe.

    You CANNOT turn off cell shading. Cell shading is a graphic style that the game's graphics use, and it can't be "turned off". What can be turned off is the 'comic book outline', which gives the game less of a 'comic book' look, but that is NOT cell shading.

    People need to stop confusing these two.
