So according to the mods on the official forums MMOGULs is like SOE station pass but bigger and better. Odd he fails to mention the $250 price tag and the $50 subscription fee and the fact that it's all vapourware and that MMOGULs is just a pyramid scheme made to scam saps out of their cash.
Also we're being too hard on Gary over here and he is too scared to post on the internet due to our prejudice. Of course this has nothing to do with the fact he hasn't paid employees for over 6 months, the fact he's stolen investors money, the fact he is running a pyramid scheme based around his vapourware product/products, the fact he's in and out of court more often than Bernie Madoc, Nick Leeson, Saddam Hussien and Pablo Escobar all put together, the fact he still doesn't have the MGM license and the fact everyone involved with any respect has written off his pathetic scam (Brad Wright and Michael Shanks for example). No he won't post because we're prejudice on MMORPG.COM!

A few objections to this...
1. Those posts were not both by Sari, the second you quoted was from me.
2. You quoted the posts out of order...I didn't say 'indeed...etc' in response to Sari's post, it was in response to Kadael's post;

I edited my post to avoid confusion, but I've read your posts in the past and I'd quite frankly have to pigeon hole you as a blind faith believer (FanOri). I'm sure you'd consider me a naysayer, the trouble is I'm the only one that's turned out to be correct whereas the FanOri continue to post in total disbelief that CME and SGW is dead. I mean what is it I've missed? What does CME have that Enron didn't? The funny thing is even Enron managed to pay employee wages until it went bankrupt, but CME can't even do that!
The whole point of the thread is to point out that the Moderators on the official boards are allowing a Mod to post that MMOGULs is the new station pass but bigger and better! What exactly do you feel about this? Do you believe that MMOGULs is merely the new station pass for CME/Firesky/Cash sink studios? Try and answer instead of avoiding the issue as everyone on the official boards is used to. A Mod makes a statement like this and you all go and hide in your caves, a newbie posts a question like this or states the same thing and you and all the FanOri leap out from the shadows and savage them. I dont know about all this "gamer" talk, but what I do know is I cant get my stock certificates from CME, I cant get my money back from MMOGULS, and last week, on a MMOGULS conference call, when I questioned why I have not received my commission and my downline had just "vanished" I was answered by being denied access to my back ofiice and I can not sign on to the network..
That, combined with all the secret emails anbout keeping all the funding to just a select few, should give any reasonable person pause to consider just what kind of company this is.. A PONZI, a security fraud, a total scam, CME, CMG and MMOGULS.
I assure you, if I owned the company and people were blasting me this way I DAMN sure would fight back and tell my side, unless of course I am guilty as hell and cant face the music..
Besides, any lunatic that buys into polygamy as a proper religous lifestyle should be kicked to the curb and run over...

Really if you have any gripe you have it with Gavick not CME. As to your MMOGULS experience I cannot comment, but I can on your comments on CME not knowning, If I went to a third party and gave them money for shares in a company A, and they didnt do it, its not company A responsability, since you didnt deal with company A in anyway.
Really if anything you need to take Gavick to court or whatever for misappropriations of your money since you gave them money for something and they didnt follow through. Think of it like this. If I went to Tesco's, or WallMart and bought a sony dvd player, and then it never got delievered, you dont phone up Sony do you (and demand them to send you a dvd player, and then get annoyed at them because they dont know what your talking about), you phone up and complain about it to the people you bought it from. Phoning Sony up and complaining, really they wouldnt have a clue would they....... You need and you can only deal with Gavick. If you have a complaint, raise it with the law and the right people not CME, you havent dealt with them directly.
Finally re-looking at your post, you have had bad experiences with MMOGULS and Gavick, not CME, to lump all the problems your having on a company that is not directly involved with either is pretty careless. Please be specific with your bitching in future, you really do try and push the blame onto a company and individuals that are in no way connected to Gavick or MMOGULS. Instead of just vaguely naming a company, just be specific with names of the people that you gave money to and who banned you, in the end you will discover that its not CME.

CME MMOGULS GAVICK, they are all different companies, they may have the same CEO's or Exec's in them, but they are seperate companies, and laying the blame on one or more of them for something that happened in another company is just plain dumb (in my opinion) Would you blame Warner for MGM making a bad move or making an inappropriate decision?
If you have been keeping up with this forum at all you would know that CME is owned by MMOGULS. So... yeah, his "bitching" actually makes quite a bit of sense to me.

Hmmm so while MMOGULS does not own CME, it's CME's bitch. It looks like CME is now only in existence to pump out crappy games to keep MMOGULS afloat and Gary out of jail.

agree with kyrie 100% as CME said competitively priced game with competitive subscription fee. Sure I'll pay that. but MMOGULS.. lol.. they can go jump.
I wont be parting with any money from my bank until the game is launched. MLM/Pyramid schemes.. not my thing.. sorry for the people who brought into MMOGULS and gave them money but tbh that is your own problem. Agreed, but the biggest joke in my opinion is that Gary started signing people up last summer and they've been paying their $50 a month for a year and there are still no games. This is just a pure pyramid scheme, there's no product to even try and cover it up. So there are saps out there that have paid $850 and signed up friends and family and haven't seen any "profits" from their downline yet.

I wonder how many are still paying $50 a month.. lol.. easy money. I think average subscription to an MMO is roughly $15 a month. so that would give them access for their money to 3 MMO's with $5 left over for cake.. mmm cake.
I don't know about you but I don't have time to play more than 1 MMO at a time. I would spend the $35 I would save on cake.

Sari has an opinion on MMOGULS and is perfectly entitled to that. It's not an opinion that I share, but as it's expressed in a perfectly polite and respectful manner, on what grounds would you want the comment removed on?

I don't believe I stated that I want it removed, did I? I just think it's very bad form to have your moderators advocating a pyramid scheme to the users on the forums. Especially one that CME has gone to such great pains to distant itself from and claim has nothing to do with them!

I getting tired of the mixed messages and non-anwsers we get from CME. One one moment they can say how wonderful Gary is and how much he wants to see SGW get finished but in the next moment they are telling us he and MMOGULS have nothing to do with the game. In one moment they can be telling us that they have never even met anyone from MMOGULS and that they know nothing about how the business even works but in the next moment they are telling us how great it is and that everyone should join MMOGULS. One month its dead silence from them, the next month they admit that nobody is being paid and everyone has stopped work on the game, then a month later its back to dead silence again.
I'm just tried of the constant drama with this game. Its bad enough they have to either lie to us or ignore us. But for the sake of atleast keeping up some kind of appearance they should make an effort to stick to the same lie each time they speak rather than changing their story every other month.

This schizophrenic behaviour coming from CME and many posters on their forums has become quite aggrevating and seems to be only intensifying now. I think most of the posters doing this want an SGW game so bad they're willing to put up with anything but on the other hand despise the pyramid scheme. For some reason they don't have the moral character to be able to either take a stand for or against what's happening to CME/SGW. As for CME I agree, these people are either schizophrenics or just plain bad liars. We all knew the truth yet they tried to disguise it with some media blackout BS and "the lights are still on" story, I mean these guys expect kudos from the fans for paying the ****ing electric bill? I pay my electric bill and internet bill, look I'm still posting on the forums! Can I get some praise on these forums and maybe a license from MGM to make a Stargate Atlantis MMORPG? I believe like many of the posters on the official forums, the people left at CME including Khestral and the unpaid moderators just lack the moral fortitude to "man up" so to speak and tell the truth.
Also on the official forums a constant irritant for them is that CME releases information to the hated MMORPG.com before their site. In fact they're rather angry they get to hear last and really I would be also, I wouldn't be amused if I were getting snubbed on a regular basis by the company I put so much time and effort into following and supporting in my free time. However CME doesn't seem to care as they view the official forums in my opinion no different than a violent husband views the wife he batters on a regular basis. He beats the crap out of her everyday and constantly cheats and lies to her, but she enforces his behaviour by staying each and every time after he beats her or his infidelity is discovered. I would have left long before now (actually I left quite quickly after encountering the "community") and many have, but there are a few that hang on like a beaten wife with a black eye and a broken arm lying in the hospital chanting the mantra of "but he loves me!".

You know CEO's and Senior Executives of a company have a fiduciary responsibilty toward that company (in a public company there are even legal ramifications for being negligent in that)..... a large part of that responsibility also involves protecting that companies reputation and brand image.... and making sure the company is not associated or affiliated (officialy or unofficialy) with anyone conducting shady business practices. Management in most legitimately run companies take those responsibilities VERY seriously.
So all these compartmentalized shell games with 5 dozen different companies all with the same owner and directors not knowing what's going on with each other is complete and utter BUNK.
GW is the owner and chairman of most of these companies....unless he has multiple personality disorder...the "Management" of each company is well aware of what is going on in the others.
Extending beyond GW..... ANYONE in senior management in CME that claims that they know nothing about what is going on in MMOGULS, GARVICK or any of the other companies involved (there are so many of them it's actually difficult to keep count at this point).... is either being disingenious or is utterly failing to meet thier most basic management responsibilties.
I know that if the management of the company I work for were in a similar situation as CME's they would.....
1) Make it thier business to know how those other companies were using thier name....and what promises and representations were being regarding thier name, services, stock or employees. They would do this because these things would have a FUNDEMENTAL impact on thier own corporations financial health and ability to conduct business.....and making sure you are well informed about that IS one of the most basic responsibilties of senior management.
2) Would be filling injunctions and "cease and desist" orders against ANY companies or individuals using thier name in a misleading fashion or claiming associations that do not exist.... or claiming to resell products, services, stock, etc belonging to the company where no agreement or license existed to do so..... this would be doubly the case, if those companies were already collecting money for services and products that were not delivered.
3) Would be filling reports with the state AG and potentialy other entities (SEC, FTC) so that they might investigate the situation to determine if there was any criminal misuse/misrepresentation (e.g. fraud) being conducted by those other entities.
4) Looking into a civil suit to determine if there was any infringement upon thier brand/trademarks or IP by those companies.... and if damage was done to thier own companies brand image and profitability.
THAT is how management at legitimate and responsible companies respond to situations where other companies might be misusing thier brand and corporate image. Instead we see people doing thier best Sgt Shultz impressions.... "I KNOW NOOOOTHING!"
