Haven't i llustrated you that this game has been played by me since beta? Probably before you and occasionaly revisited as you can check out from my correct and insightfull game survival guide.
I wouldn't bother to check a full list of expansions because there is always different things promissed and different things implemented, or relevant things implemented but that never actually worked as intended. Game devs have their own plans and they obviously differ from what playerbase demanded over the years. That's fine and cool but I guess some people can also find better uses for their subscription money than for another game of the mill that failed to deliver what they promised. It's becoming common practice by developers of every kind but we the paying customers are also becoming wisser. This will help in the long run by pressuring the market to come up with our demands. We just asked for whatever they have been promising to be true at least to some degree.
As one user not so elegantly put it regarding where all the EVE online game subscription money gone instead of updating EVE online as a game...
[quote]What happened to that? They scrapped the entire idea and just went ahead and made something completely different.
Guess I know where all that money was going now? Not upgrading servers, or bringing a dedicated fan base more and better content.
Instead they are busy making a console game to reap in more profits as if they 100+dollar action figure models of ships they have and the 15$ a month they get from subscribers wasn't enough.
This is the reality of EVE Online an unforgiving universe only out to scam you and take your money.
Hey it's a form of PvP
v more like it...
Keep ranting fanboys (or closet employees)
Btw I have news for them I can't disclose.
A very very large entity in MMO games is developing a space tittle which likely will draw all subscription from every failed game (including EVE) to their massive servers. (sweet revenge)
To put it mildly they will be having the big unforgiving hammer of facing the consequences of their own decisions striking at their door..on the other hand hence the rush for console tittles from their part..quick money, half finished projects, take the money and run while the fame lasts. I am sorry for the fanboys. Aww they will be so much buthurt.
At least I did not pretend that I liked the game while being all over EVE related forums instead of playing the actual game because my in game life gradually became boring and eventually sucked...(yeah that's a pun)
Not a moment was boring while I played EVE (because of my own choices and planing and not from the awesome player driven events ) and never felt a need to alt+tab and find a forum to pass my time...
Everything I posted is right on target and many of you know it, but fanboys are the kind of persona's that will never admit their choices were actually wrong and instead will defend them with vigor.
Eve online isn't a game it's a alternate reality. I learned the hardway coming from Wow. I tried to listen to everyone on forums and jumped right into pvp only to die over and over, I got scammed, tricked to the point of not wanting to play anymore. Over time I came to find my way in the game world.
It wasn't easy, I decided to lay off the pvp and train up and run missions, join a corporation that was more into mining, missions and combat sites. This gave me time to read and learn and when Fw was released by CCP I tried that and never looked back.
I now have two characters on my one account, one for 0.0 pvp and the other as my level four mission runner. My corp labeled me as a casual player and they understand when I leave the game for a month or two.
I've recently came back to the game after a three month break and decided to mess with wh's and i'm having a great time.
Sometimes it takes time to find that one thing you like in eve but believe me it's worth it when you do.
I think that while I love playing EVE for all these years I love it from a managing point of view. I think I will get wrapped up in the gameplay of Dust 514 much more than EVE. Also I prefer Darkfall for a lot of things over EVE, but EVE for a lot of things over Darkfall.
I look forward to being able to play Dust 514 and EVE and Darkfall as they all grow and evolve like sandboxes do.

Before I even started Eve I knew the game would be unforgiving, I knew it was pvp focused and I knew the combat was point to slick and more slow paced.
Now what I don't understand is, if a newb like myself could learn all of that before trying the game why must I read all of these idiot posts from the FPS/Twitch kiddies that wish Eve was Tie fighter?
I really hope the game your refering to isn't STO, JGE or BP because we can all see how full of fail those games are so far lol!
STO has no ship interiors and is more of a single player game, JGE is a failed instance pvp game (battlegrounds in space? I could just play wow!) and BP? This developer will be under funded and the game will release in a shitty state (Think DF).

Are you in some kind of denial syndrome?

You have illustrated your ignorance only, and I don't see much point in fact wheter it last since EVE open beta as you claim it.
The tears.
They sustain me.
Give me liberty or give me lasers
Wall of text hurt my eyes!!

this, that was pretty funny watching you claim nothing had changed and then proceed on a rant from 2004.
