What I want to know is .......
Is the game any good? Is there any reason I would want this game instead of another? How is the combat? Is the environment good? How smart is the AI?
I really like the look of this game I just want someone who has played it a while to tell me the answers to my questions.

Yeah but what I am asking you personally IS IT FUN?
Are you enjoying the game? Do you get excitement out of combat with both AI and other people? Now that you have played it for a while is it still fun and interesting.
I place much more stock in peoples feeling about a game than the statistics of the gameplay features.

Well, IMO, and thank you for asking, I will try to explain for ya....
1- The game has a different look and feel than anything I have ever played before (some good some bad). The environment has a very authentic "Matrix" look/feel to it, just like Enter the Matrix, but not linear, it's Mission based and you can accept/decline specific missions.
2- I truly like the upload/learn/switch skills idea It has the ability not only to lead to a change in play for different characters, but you can do it (at anytime) with 1 character, You have a limited memory capacity, so you just unlearn/learn/relearn abilities as you see fit.
3- I have yet to see any "REAL" PvP in the game, so I cannot comment, unless everything I have seen involves it already (and in that case it sucks). The AI combat is totally different, as I have stated and I am starting to understnd/enjoy it more, as my skills increase. I can only hope the "newness" of the combat does not get old.
4- The chat system blows severely...
5- I actually am seeing the combat itself evolve some already and it's growing on me, in a good way.
6- Guilds, as far as I can see, will NOT work in this game, mainly due to the horrendous chat system (as stated in other posts, at least we have a long long time to test/improve it-- hopefully), and this matters not to me, being a Guild Leader (more than once) in a long, expensive [3 accts] excrutiating SWG experience.
7- Now, in conclusion, there is a lot more to discuss but I think that's a good start. Also, with the game being in it's infancy, some or all of these opinions can and may possibly change, depending on the games evolution. I am "Still" trying to test as much as possible, but the Beta hours and QA Server problems make this very hard.. I hope you can take a little info from this. This is from the opinion of a lifelong gamer (in his 30's), but new to the Beta realm...

Thank you Iowayeti
I like a person who gives good honest answers without trying to make something sound better than they actually believe it is simply because they have some fondness or attachment to the game title.
Kudos.
