After reading up on this game, I think I am going to get behind it. It does bear some striking similarities to WoW after going through the powerWiki, but not enough to stop it from seeming fresh.

Less grinding than Lineage 2? I'm in.

 

Nice artistic style with cool looking factions? Sweet.

 

Stigma system that allows you to customize your toon in new ways? Righteous!

 

My character has wings?!? Uhh- here is the caviat for me. I don't do wings. 

 

Though I am horribly superficial to the point where Warhammer was the only game that ever forced me to be a non-human due to the fact I enjoyed Shadow Warrior, I think I'll bite this bullet and give Aion a try.  Luckily, I was able to hide the pointed ears under my hood and tell myself I was a human.

With Fallen Earth out of the running due to disappointing beta (for me), and Champions featuring a bunch of jobber superheroes (the only kind of superhero that gets killed and doesn't  come back), Aion takes the lead. Pre-order commence!
