Hello

RuneCasters: What are their main attributes and is piety worth putting points into?

Well, Runemasters are the Midgard equivalent of a wizard, so you'd think that Intelligence is a priority, but it's actually not.  Piety is the caster's stat for Midgard, and increases their power pool and damage.  So Piety is their primary stat.  Dexterity affects your casting speed, so that's also of importance to a Runemaster.  After that, if you have room for stats, get Con.

When it comes to templating a Runemaster, you will want Piety, Dex, Con, Hits, Skill bonuses, and Resistances.  Pretty much in that specific order.

You mean people still wanna play runemasters when they could be a warlock? *giggles*

I'm sure warlocks have got the nerf bat by now, but god when I played one before its was like " pew pew dump chambers" for the instakill lol.

    God I miss DAoC!

Is it worth it to come back and play these days?

They haven't touched warlocks since the 2 seconds between chamber dumps (2 seconds!?  wtf!?  That's NOTHING!), so they're still "pew pew chamber dump for the instakill".

Edit: Oh wait, I take that back.  They're planning on (already have?) moved some spells from X to Y spell list.  Hasn't made them any less godlike if it's already happened.
