EQ2 Hardware

 Hi folks,

maybe it's a stupid thing to ask but i just have to :)

What are the hardware requirements for EQ2? I know just those posted by Sony itself, but want to know the real ones... Could any beta player post some experience with running EQ2 client on his/her machine. Thanks a lot guys

    Well any processor above 1ghz should run the game as long as its not celeron.Thus any athlon xp or pentium  4.

    Game demands at least 700mb RAM.

    Seen a few people running it on Ti4600 on high to balanced performance and a few running the game on high to very performance with the FX5200.

    So i guess the minimum specs would be any pentium 4 or athlon xp or above,768RAM,geforce4ti(mx series  DOES NOT work).

    This should allow you to adjust your setting to the point you can easily play the game.

    Thanks a lot guys, i hope ill run in at least in mid details :)

    The graphics is not everything but it can definitly  improve the feeling and add something to the atmosphere :)

    I'm on an Athlon 2400, 1GB RAM and a GeForce 4 Ti4800 128MB RAM and I can run it on high settings and I haven't seen any lag yet..
