this is what i have http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01077676&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3548185&lang=en
i'm lookin for a decent but cheap as possible replacement, ran into some trouble when i went to change out the video card. unhooked the lil lock thing on it, but when i pulled the card out, the plastic sleeve it goes in connected to the motherboard pulled right off with little effort. >.<
would be nice if it had 2 PCIe 16 slots and atleast 1 PCEx1(for the DVR card) and 4 ram slots, i have nothing in the PCI slots cept the dial up modem(wich i don't use)
need it to be able to use the processor and everything else.
this is everything the comp has only thing i added was a 1g nvidia card.
i'm clueless on motherboards, i've replaced them, but i was mailed an exact replacement.

Or perhaps

Cost a bit more though!
the second one looks almost identical, cept the 2 PCIe x1. wich would be nice considering i couldn't use my dvr card because the PCIe x1 was covered because the video card takes up 2 slots
I love this card! I have em slapped in all 4 of my gaming pc's and with any dual core system running around 3Ghrz speed you can't go wrong anytime soon.

Of course the 9600 and the 9800 GT's are better but more pricey and a lot bigger as well. I just prefer the 9500GT for it's price and size i have one in and old amd3800+ single core and I can play games like Crysis on almost max settings. Runs it on my Vista Intel dual core (2.5Gig dual corp perfectly)
this is my video card, as you can see the heatsink/fan is freakin huge..lol

bump
anyone else have any ideas that would also work, hopefully a lil cheaper if possible. friday is my last day of work, plant is shutting down. but i know mmos is the cheapest way to keep occupied so hopin to get it fixed asap.
could this one work with everything else i have from my old board?

Chances are that the MB you chose will not work because of the case you have. You bought it from HP so its probobly a mid tower case and only has mountig screw for micro ATX like your last board. Here are a few Mb i found that would work, screw layout might be differant though, you'll have to pull out your last motherboard and see if you can rearrangesome of the MB grounding screws but these should work fine.
Asus My personal choice
ASRock Another solid build with good reviews
Jetway Decent MB but an option. Also you video card will cover the x1 slot on this one too so
