New to LotRO... Looking for company.

I played the trial last week, and I really enjoyed the game, except I was bored when I didn't have someone to kill/quest/explore with. I really am not a fan of solo play (which is why MMOs attract me) but LotRO still had a bit of solo time. I'm wondering if someone would want to start a character and we would play together. It's preferred that you have AIM/MSN to discuss playing times and such. Send me a message if you're interested! Thanks!

Also, for a duo, what 2 classes would complement each other well? I'm thinking Ministrel and Guardian but I'm not certain.

You might be better off looking for a good guild. Many people have been around a long time, but have alts that they want to level. Its also difficult unless you are best friends or in a relationship with that person to level exactly at the same pace. I've only seen couples successfully do that by threatening their partner if they go to fast lol. One thing that may help you is placing your time zone and the hours that you plan to play. I'm surprised you are having so much trouble finding a group. On Landroval it doesn't seem to hard, but I admit that most people only seem to group if they are forced to, such as on the Main Quest Line of on the quests that require a group. Most solo if its a quest that involves solo play. The exception to this is when people are working on deeds that require killing 200 of something and they want to team with people to make it go faster. Anyway, hope you find that playing partner :-0

Well, I am not looking to reroll yet, as my captain and mini are working on 60.  But I do play on brandywine, and the lowbie area is usually great for finding people to play with. Could ask around there.

As for the classes, Tank/healer means you basically are set for any group ever again.  Which means guardian/warden and Mini(better healer)/Runekeeper.  Of course, if you choose not to do that, I would recommend at least one of those 4 classes for one of you two.  The other should compliment the other. IE if you pick the healer, the other should be melee, so you are not getting hit.  If you pick tank, the other can really be whatever though.

You can join my group on Brandywine. Send me a PM here for info.
