New help on deciding on a good MMO.

KenrithKenrith Member Posts: 11

Hey all, I've recently rebuild my gaming pc and would like to get back into the MMO world. There are a few problems. I work 30 hours a week and go to school. So I'm looking for a kinda fast pasted game but yet has a lot of quest and things to do when maxed. I' played WoW until my brother got my 80 banned. I don't wanna restart cause it took me so long to level and it would be so time consuming. I know WoW is the game out there right know too. So I mite or mite not restart. I heard Warhammer is a good game too. Aion I think is number one on the ratings. I was also looking at SWTOR too, but I see it doesn't go online until 2010 or so. I just need some advice would be greatly apprecitated.

Thanks guys.

Try lords of the rings online pretty cheap to buy 10$ plus you get your standard 30days free , alot of solo content and even at level 60 there stuff to do deeds , books , raids and monster play if you like pvp abit .

Thanks for the quick reply. Is LOTR populated? Is it all grinding though levels or does it go kinda quick?

Guildwars is probably best if you can't put hat much time into it. It have the least grind in any MMO and nice PvP. However is it a lot harder than Wow. No monthly fees or itemshops and a lot of content. You can buy a nice package with all expansions in for the prce of a new regular game.

Otherwise have a look on EQ2, it is a great game for group playing. not that much of a sologame however and the PvP is bad.

If you want to try something free with an item shop there is a Wow copy called Runes of magic. It is ok but not great. the only free game that is worth playing however.

Lotro is quest based just like Wow , so yes leveling is pretty quick but if your new it will take you more time than players that have been through the game already .

Yes EQ2 is a good choice aswell i played it 4 years it's alot more solo friendly than people might think just some classes do it better or faster .

I stuck with Lotro because the community as a whole seem a whole alot better than most games out there .
