Horror MMORPG

Their really doesn't seem to be a demand for horror MMORPG's yet, but does anyone know of a GOOD one in production or a rumor of one to come out. It would be awesome if a game like Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines were made into a MMORPG.

    Amen brother.....

    I have been eagerly awaiting a good mmorpg that either incorporates vampire clans as the main characters or even a game that uses the underworld scenario of vampires VS werewolves.

    To me this would make the ultimate MMORPG and would definitely be my pick over games like WOW and EQ2.

    Get on it Devs.......We are waiting..

    Only if done right.

    Would need a couple of incorporated things. A open FFA like PvP enviroment.

    A truely scary setting. very gothic and creepy. Would need superb sound to further pull you into the world of horror.

    Good game mechanics, and unique fighting system, this caveman fighting that is commonplace in pretty much almost every MMORPG to date would not be suitable. You'd need extreme manueverability and unique fighting.

    All I can think of for now. Would be an awesome concept, but only if done right. If they don't do it right, don't do it at all.

    P.S. I think they are already starting on a vampire vs hunter game. Remember reading something on it at gamergod.

    There was one that looked good but it got canned, cant remember the name of it but it had its own forum here at the time. It was kinda wild west meets horror.

    How about a HELLRAISER mmorpg?

    You have to try to make your character look the most horrorful. Taking body parts, knives etc. that would be a blast.
    Invaiding "humans" and trying to get them as scared/fearful of you as posabul...make a repitation for yourself as the most feared. hahahahaaaa

    Naturally you would need more content than that, but the thought of making a char like that would be fun. =)


    Oh and FLEM, the mmorpg you are thinking of was PRIEST.

    anyways... yes, a horror MMORPG would own all...

    the only thing tht is IMO holding it back is that in order to be a true "horror" game, there has to be a constant element of suprise which would be VERY hard to create... the game would either have to be constantly updated, or to a lesser effect, randomly generated...
