I feel if WAR did get something right it was the Public Quests. The problem was they had too many in one zone so the population was far too spread out.
But i enjoyed the way Public Quests worked and it was a good way to break the standard quest leveling system in PVE.
Anyone feel the same?

Aion has group quests, which, imho, beat the crap out of PQs in terms of challenge and overall entertainment.
Thing with warhammer is that all of the sudden, everyone was your friend, even that douche who would just jump in the middle of the PQ was rewarded for your work. I prefer communities when they stablish themselves, instead of having the game do that for you.
I agree, nothing is more fun than killing 100 bees, then collecting jars for a dwarf, then defending him while he sets them up, then killing the boss he accidentally summons, then doing the whole thing over again, and again, and again
Yes. PQs were a good part of the game, and more games should have them.

Much better to grind 10,000 bees?

Loved PQs, but they were flaky in design. I've seen people win them without lifting a hand. Also the loots system is just a joke. The group quest style that has been already mention, and the one Blizzard had implemented make a little more since. A good combo of both a PQ and a Group quest would really be interesting. At this moment in time, I'm not too big on PQs. Although probably the most interesting PvE object in WAR

Pretty much, and at least I can solo the bees. I was so accustomed to Korean grinders, I ground my way up in WoW and didn't even know what an instance was till 51, and tbh, I had alot more money and blues/purples than most people my level, as I just bought BoE ones from the AH with all my grind money :P
I fully agree although PQ's where good in some respect's it all but killed social interaction in WAR nobody had to say Hi can I join your group which is a ice breaker but instead just click a button.
Your usual MMO you meet a few players early levels and you often see them time and time again whilst leveling up and often become a IG friend PQ's all but killed that with people just diving in and out as they wished without so much as a Hello.
