This could be the absolute worst trolling attempt on DDo. Seriously, all you had to do was to read the announcement. At least until the sentence - no new accounts can be created until 09/09. Instead you came here, raving about how bad the game is in about 30 lines. Incredible.

All I had to do is read the announcements? Dude that post is in the forum, not the main website. Further, I emailed their customer service days ago and still haven't heard back from them. Even if it were true that this is the actual issue, the error should not be "your session has expired", it should say something completely different. You know, like "new players cannot create aqccounts unil 09/09". And, like I said, they have known about this for awhile now and done nothing about it. I wouldn't have been looking in "account management", I'd be looking specifically account registration. You can't manage what you don't have. Incredible, I know!

Don't know what made you think I can play the game but no, I have just created a Turbine account as it was supposed to be an issue.
Unless you are current/former subscriber or beta tester, you can't get into head start. That would deny the whole idea of head start, wouldn't it?
I assume you will have to wait till 9th as I will have to or subscribe.

So you just made an account but you didn't play the game before, right?
Bingo,
For you people claiming the opening day of hte new server for the new players is the actual problem read that post, and the other dude who pretty much was in the same boat and said the same thing.
Why worry about signing up when I can tell you right now, the game is not worth playing to begin with. Unless you think current korean f2p titles are good, you wont find DDO to be anything spectacular. In fact, its one of those games i have to force myself to play when trying to see if it has any redeeming values. I just cant see it.

All you needed to do is to SCROLL DOWN a little bit to see this big headline.
So yes, it's on the front page. And you should have known already what a word "headstart" means. It's doesn't mean "launch" I'm afraid. That's a different word.
So all was obvious to other players, as you can see in this thread. Even those new and wanting to try the game, exactly like you.

How did you create an account without a product key?
@OP you thought you would get better aanswers from ranting here than to check the offical Account assistance forum? Lots of answers to be found there...

The only legit way you can create Turbine account currently - use LoTRO/AC code or use the games website to create an account.
Once DDO Unlimited is 'officialy' launched, there will be product codes, website account creation available as well as game listed in Turbine store like for other Turbine products, I suppose.

Where exactly does that say "you cannot create an account before sept 9?" I have had games ordered and sitting on my computer desk for nearly a month before the servers for that game even went live. Maybe you should try learning how to read first? And you should also try explaining the two other posters in this thread who registered accounts already. And two of my friends for that matter.
I have noticed that there are several websites that I cannot access with one of my systems, although there seems to be no problems with IE or firefox that I can detect. So to access these sites I use another system. I have also noticed that my second system has the odd website that I can not access through it, but never the same two sites really. Having more then one terminal has been a real life saver because insted of trying to get the world to adapt to me, I can adapt to it.
If I run into a snag I can pretty much find a workaround to anything. I never played DDO in beta or subed yet I was able to start an account and get into the headstart, because I am a man of many skills.
Now your going to hate me when I say it eight675309 (nice handle btw) the problem is with you system, but it's such a miniscule problem its not worth the time trying to fix it. If you can't access a site and hundereds of thousands of others can don't fight it. Jump on another system, a friends, school or cafe if you don't have another and bypass the issue.
Adapt to the world and save yourself a lifetimes worth of headaches.
The best advice that I ever got was just two little words. I wish I was told them before I was 30 but I had I am sure I would have just disregarded it.
Go to the DDO website and L2Read. If you were not a past subscriber or a closed beta tester for the new version.. You will not be able to even make an account or login until the 9th when they end the weeklong headstart program. How about you go and research a bit instead of barking at people and spewing untrue stuff out of your mouth Eight. Show some initiative instead of having others do stuff for you....
Why worry about signing up when I can tell you right now, the game is not worth playing to begin with.
