Closed beta will work fine, you should go ahead and launch it and get the 1.5 patch. its 3 gig in size so it is going to take a while as they seem to be trickling out.
My closed beta client updated to the same client version that's offered in the Torrent download off the Aion site.
(On a related note, downloading that torrent and updating the closed beta client to the open beta client with it had no noticeble ill effect on the closed beta client that patched itself to the open beta version.)

i launched the closd beta files and it directly runs the file without patching
If you can, launch the ncsoft launcher, if there is an update it should find it.
