Did they do this game right? because i played closed beta and it sucked. i played it once or twice. when they sent the email to say it was up to play. The gfx were crap but again closed beta and everything was laggy and glitchy. Again Closed beta.

I have not turned away from the idea of champions online. But I do want to know if all that is fixed or are there still alot of buggs? and Does it own CoH/CoV? cause if not tthen i wont touch this game because CoH/CoV sucked.

Also I seen there were bosses. Is there more of a rpg style to the game than there was in CoH/CoV?

Kick to the Face.

The graphics have not changed significantly since closed beta. There were some nice optimizations done right at the end of closed beta, but nothing drastic.

If your PC couldn't handle it before then its unlikely that it can now.

If you say so.... Not all game engines perform equally. LotRO and EQ2 are quite old now.

If you think that CoX sucked and you thought CO closed beta sucked, then you probably shouldn't waste your time.

Exactly my old computer that played CoH very well could handle LoTR and EQ2 but there is no way it could handle CO.

If you can play AoC or WAR on the Medium settings then you can play this game.  If you can play those on low setting you might be able to play the game.

When I was in closed beta IN July there was hardly any lag.

If you thinked CoH/V sucked please don't try the game.

I can play AoC and see everything it didn't look like crap, i played WAR for about 10 min. i couldn't tell ya on that one. I know my comp can handle the game itself. I was just wondering about CO because i didn't play it very long either.

CoH/CoV were fun until about level 25. then everything just became to repeatitive. Which why i asked about the rpg elements about the game.

    My system

    Windows Xp Pro

    Athlon 3.5gig

    2gig ram

    GeForce 8500 GT 512MB

Please I just want my question answered lol. I don't care wether you think i should play the game or not thats not what im asking.

I just want to know if it plays like CoH/CoV or if it has more of a MMORPG feel to it. like per say WoW or w/e else you could compare it to.

I was in the closed beta for about 6 months.

I suppose that means you have to take what I say with a grain of salt since I have played the game for a while. To me the game has changed very little in that time despite rampant complaints and suggestions on the beta boards.

The game is fun when you first start out playing. If you are looking for a short term game that is very solo friendly and a bit more action-y than your typical MMO then CO probably won't disappoint you. I don't see many but the really devoted playing the game for over 2 months though.

It's not like CoH really. It's not about standing still and using your hotbar, though it can be. You can move around while attacking, though you can't dodge attacks, and you have to watch for enemy's 'tells' that show you when they are using a powerful move so you can block it.

They have added cool downs to a bunch of powers now too, so it is gradually moving into CoH territory.

*The game lacks depth though. In story and in content. Backgrounds change and enemies look different, but it's got the same basic feel all the way through. It turns into a rather monotonous grind of kill x amount of x baddies and return style quests.
