eq2 world questions

in Everquest II
i have the map of eq2 and it looks a whole lot smaller than the old everquest, and i was wondering if it is still very large even though it looks small, and is the wolrd as fun exploring as the old everquest?

    Could you elaborate? About how does it compare to EQLive?

    (yes, I've read the faqs - I'd like to hear it from the testers, rather than the SoE marketing machine.)

    Qeynos is about 3 times bigger, or more... same with freeport. Antonica is so big that they needed to add the gryphons for faster travel. Running would take a while. The zones are just really big and have a lot going on... they are huge compaired to the zones in EQ live... and i thought South Karana was a long run.

    Aw don't tell me that MegaWolf image. I hated running the karana zones (West and south mainly), that is EQ before all the expansionsimage.

    You can take Gryphons to other parts of the land. Also when you can afford it you can buy certain types of horses as well. It's all in there right now.

    And BTW, Gryphons are free, right now anyway, so don't worry about cleaning out your wallet just to get across antonica. And Enigma, did you see the magic carpet you could buy at vendors? i wonder if anyone has bought one yet lol.

    ah, running from everfrost to freeport with my barb shaman, those were the days, every run was exciting with the possibilty to die, kept you on your toes. The portals in POP were the worst thing they added.
