This game is not even out and already I am tired of it. Too many people have posted too many pics, and I just don't see the rampant fascination with the whole wings thing. I played this game for the first 3 CB events, and it is a fun game, but I just don't see how this game differs from L2.

The game just isn't different enough. Granted, flight is a really cool aspect, but its not like its new. Graphics-wise, the game is alright. The game just feels like L2 with flight. I don't see myself playing it any time soon.
You sound like you have MPD. The first two sentances sound like someone who hasn't played the game but is just tired of it because of the pics. Then you say you played the first 3 CB's. Seems like if you were tired of it it would be because of playing too long already not because of the postings of pics and wings.
Well, I got tired of the game, then I keep seeing people post the same pic over and over again, and it makes me not like the game even more.
Then don't play it. You won't be missed, and I'm not sure why you thought anyone would care? I mean, from what you've described, you don't like fundimental elements of the game, so...don't play it?

play the open beta, give the game more chance.

dude.. you should tell who ever is taping your face to the monitor and forcing you to follow the game, read the forums, looking at the pics, and play the game to fuck off.

Wow! Hope you find then what you're looking for. Why post on this forum about your negativity to Aion? Just don't play the game and you'll be fine, just let us enjoy it without you.
I am right there with you Tuk. Lovers of Aion will see it differently, they will defend it. I give the game 2 months before there are complaints. People are going to be royally disappointed becuase they want this game to "work". Either they are tired of playing WoW, or looking to fill the void until SWTOR or FFXVI comes out.
I knew i had seen enough halfway through my 3rd CB weekend. Just couldnt do it anymore. Its a good enough game but i own several good games that offer pretty much the same thing.
I have purposely limited my time spent in the CB so that I don't burn myself out. There's other things to do, like make butterscotch caramel oatmeal cookie bars, and then go running in the evenings to burn the calories I gained from eating one :P
In a way I almost think Aion should given us much less time ingame due to the lack of quests in the early levels. I'm considering sitting out for OB because I know our toons are going to be whiped anyway. This will be my third time rolling a new toon so its bound to get old in any MMO is such a short period of time. Launch day needs to be here already....

. But to the point i think you are correct about the early burnout factor. Ive heard others say they avoid beta testing games just for that reason.
