Hey Lawyer guy put a banana in your pie hole. Blizzard did not even try to keep us up to date. Anyone thinking soon was 2 weeks plus is on crack.

All I wanted was an update. Too many stupid people in the world will go off to play another game. I have no idea why people would want to promote another Warcraft Adventures Fatality but you guys sure are pushing hard...

How many people would have bought WA if they hadn't cancel it? it was for all intent and purposes finished also....

If you guys care so little for the game not to be upset just get leavee this board. No one forced you to post your drivle anymore than me. If you want to bang your head up against the brick wall be my guess I'll toss you a few pennies for your bruised head and egos.

Fanbois might want to string us up and set us afire but they are welps that also would pay SWG year after year thinking well golly it's BOUND to get better.
Blizzard if no other reason than NOT being honest deserves to lose ALOT of accounts.
    Period.
So you're saying SWG releasing early was bad, but WoW is bad for not releasing early enough, by your standard? That makes sense. So please to be making with the showing of how Blizzard has lied to you, or been blowing BS up your butt.
-Please TRY to keep up. I just want an update if not the game that is all. They lied and you had no clue of what I was speaking of. Catch up or stay out of the arguement. Thank you..
They are a buisness. They are out to make money. They just shot themselves in the foot. They keep this up they WILL loose alot of customers. They best give thanks to Cay for her continued efforts at informing us. Only PR worth spit right now in their offices.
Some peoples overinflated sense of entitlement aside, I'd wager most of those throwing tantrums on Bnet and elsewhere have no intention of buying the game anyway. They just want to 'test' the game. The rest? They'll be buying it when it releases, all their foot stomping notwithstanding. As for EQ2? Have fun with another SOE 'quality' release. Don't forget to let me know how you're enjoying the crashes, lag, and broken and untested content. Frankly, in an industry run with a 'release now, patch later' credo, I applaud Blizzards decision to take all the time they need to.
-Bottom line alot of people are stupid and many will goto EQ2 hell after awhile even I felt tempted I am just not that stupid. tho I 'clap happily' they are taking their time an update and less BS soon commentaries would be nice.

    This thread is very:

"Throw my dummy out of the pram and play EQ2 because they wont let me play with WoW"

Personally after experiencing SWG and the poor quality of this product, I am happy to wait for Blizzard to spend time getting WoW right and not have to PAY for 12 months for them to fix everything.

Also if they are spending time sorting out the servers, again I would rather wait til they get it right and not waste lots and lots of frustrating time getting thrown out or not seeing half the combat going on around me (no snip at EQ2 there honest image)

    Be patient and show character.

Now playing: VG (after a long break from MMORPGS)
Played for more than a month: Darkfall online, Vanguard SOH, Everquest, Horizons, WoW, SWG, Everquest II, Eve

Uhh... geez, are you all new generation gamers?  None of you have ever waited for games like Warcraft 2?  Diablo 1?  Heck even Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 were delayed like crazy.  So just wait, sheesh... you'd think by now people would realize Blizzard is a slowass company that takes their sweet time.

Just so everyone knows, one of the bugs that is delaying Blizzard from releasing open beta is that Ogrimar has a staggering FPS drop, especially near the auction house. Blizzard is trying to fix this problem before open beta.

image booohooo  I've been betrayed! image

You know you'll play when it comes out, regardless of the whimpering you do here.  You wouldnt be crying on the boards about release dates if you weren't. You would have found a new game and moved on.

You are only whining cuz you have nothing better to do. And reality check here - complaining isnt gonna make it happen any faster.

Those who say - Im glad its taking so long cuz it means the game will be better..." Whatever?! How do you know? Maybe the devs went on vacation - maybe they like reading your flames - who knows - who cares? Making up excuses is as worthless as complaining.

Thank you..Since the SWG to WoW analogy was a bit too subtle, I guess, I'll keep it simple. How did they lie to you? A simple qoute of them telling you something that they have not done. Just because their version of soon isn't 'soon enough' for you doesn't mean they lied. If they had said beta would be on the 24th, and it wasn't, then had not said anything, then yes you have a valid gripe, but they didn't do that. They simply said it would be soon. But just saying they lied, and sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling "nyah, nyah, nyah, I can't hear you" doesn't prove your case.

I somehow don't think it's a vast conspiracy to keep people in the dark. With SOE making the release date official tommorow, I'd expect to hear an announcement from Blizzard tommorow, or close to it.

A lot of these "OB NOW!" people are either on the verge of, or are in hysterics over this. By nature of the meaning of the word hysterics, they can't think straight. There are multiple arguments against what they are saying, which they need only think for a short time to understand.

Here are some facts to meditate on... come to your own conclusions:

    1. If EQ2 releases before WoW, it won't really matter. It is a lower quality product. The word of mouth for these games is what will matter, in the long run. EQ2 may get more initial buys in the beginning, but that won't matter in the long term.

It's all about word of mouth, and we all know which game is winning in that deparment.

    2. If WoW releases after EQ2, it won't really matter. It will be a complete game, and EQ2 will not be.

EQ2's boards will be a swarm of anger and resentment around the time that WoW comes out, and everyone with any sense will switch to WoW. The playerbase will be up in arms about the way that SOE has treated the game.

    3. If you are that up in arms about OB for WoW not starting yet, and you have the cash, you will end up playing WoW regardless of when it releases. You are addicted. You are obsessed. You are utterly PWNED by WoW at this point. You are in hysterics.

Develop patience, develop character, develop a sense of the way that things work in this world, and you will realize how dumb you have been in the past.

I can not stress enough, games, movies, music CDs, the success of everything in this world is governed by word of mouth. And in the long term, WoW will beat out EQ2. This brings us back to... patience.

    That is all.

Maybe it's mass hysteria, centered around the close release of two very anticipated games. People are going insane with the thought that they will be playing them soon. Combine that with the fact that the 2 games are competing, and you get a good dose of stupidity mixed in as well.

When the games release it will be like a collective bonghit.. everyone will chill.. but until then, expect injuries, heart attacks, people going insane, and multiple deaths. We have reached the apocalypse my brothers, and it is filled with foolish monkeys.

In any case I don't want to get into a flamewar... I just wanted to vent my observations from all of the immature impatient people who can't wait for something which they have no entitlement to whatsoever.

That has been accomplished. Now, to get into a flamewar with those same people would only cause pain and strife for me, so I respectfully step out of any flame war which may erupt, now that I've gotten a chance to vent.

    Thank you, and good day.::::28::

And if you still can't handle that WoW OB hasnt' started yet, take two of these ::::20::, and don't post again.
