Live in the US. US key.... EU client?

Hello all.

I checked my addcache.xml in my Aion folder, and I found this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>

- <GameAdditions xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">;

- <Arguments>

-ip:206.127.153.247 -port:2106 -cc:1

<Value Regions="EU">-ip:206.127.147.28 -port:2106 -cc:2</Value>

</GameAdditions>

 

Why do I have the EU version, and what should I change it to for the US?

Click on Ncsoft Launcher, you'll see under ''games installed'' Aion listed, next to it is a little dropdown box, right click on it > Properties > change region > US

Yeah the person above would be correct unless you downloaded EU version by mistake, then that is just... ouch.

I got it straight from the fileplanet link, which was US only... I would be a bit more than just a little upset if they were handing out EU clients for a US only thing, lol.

In the Launcher, try going to "File" > "Settings" > "Advanced", there should be a Region and Language part there.

I just checked that, it shows Region as North America, and Language as English... Can anyone tell me what the contents of their addcache.xml says?

Cant you change it to "Europe" in the drop-down box?

My Addcache says:

Yes, I could, but I am in the US, and want to play on the US servers, and my account is with a US key. That is my whole problem, lol.

Hmm, good point, for some reason i thought it was the other way around :P

Why did you check the addcache in the first place? "ID and password does not match"?
