Anyone else has trouble connecting?

I have been trying to get into the game for three days now, but I haven't

gotten past the "Server is down" message on the launcher.

Is it just me or others are experiencing this too?

Did you activate your free 30 days? it took me about 4 hours to figure this out, when you go to your account on champions-online.com and you're at the screen where it says which subscription you actively have (should say something like bestbuy retail free 30 days) and then it gives you some more choices for renewing your sub via recurring monthly or a gamecard..rather than hit submit, click cancel and your free time should be activated.  ive been playing since sept 1st

I think I have gone thru this screen before.. when I go there now and enter the key, it says:

"Champions Online Retail - GameStop

With 30 free days"

There is no Cancel button on this screen, only list of payment choices and Submit button.

Do I need to do anything else?

Ok, I gave up and entered my credit card info at champions-online.com site -

now the Launcher works ok.

I wish it would just tell me to do this when I first installed, instead of showing the

misleading "Server down" message the whole time.
