Oceanic region ping average b/w 700 and 2.5k!!!

Hello Aion players. I am from Melbourne attempting to play Aion . ATM my ping is in the vicinity of 700 to 2.5k ms . The game for me is tottaly unplayable , which really sux. I know this is beta and they are stress testing the servers, but atm i am more stressed than the the servers lol. I am on my second bottle of vino. Hope launch day is more fluid and playable for oceanics otherwise its back to Borecraft :(
