Second day avr ping 650 Oceanic Australia region.Hope it improves...

My second day of playing in Aion. The game is far more stable than last night. Having said that I am from Australia and my average ping is b/w 650 and 700ms which is way too high. Hope on release date it will be lower otherwise its pointless to play as with a high ping like that pvp is next to useless. :(

me too, I've been taking a break from OB until the lag clears up. it was more than fine during CBT. I know they are doing a lot of stress tests atm, but I hope the game becomes playable soonish.

wont change much on release unless they add west coast servers. Your best bet is to use a proxy service like lowerping, i got mine down to around 300. Internode said they might add a free proxy setup at retail which will be good.

Have you guys try logging into different servers to see if there's any difference?

Me and my buddy was on the last server, start with S, and we got 3k plus latency and 20plus fps. But when he hop into another server, he get 700plus ms...

It's called a fucking STRESS TEST.  Why is EVERYONE SO STUPID and why is this the number one complaint?  You agreed to be a part of an Open Beta TEST for the servers.  This isn't meant to be a taste test to see if you like the game.

That's like me signing up for the army, then being mad when they ship me to war.  It's just WHAT HAPPENS when you sign up for the army.

Honestly, if you want to be heard, you should be posting that on the Beta Boards which are working fine now.
