I'm not a fanboi by any stretch as I haven't even finished downloading this game. But I'd like to see some actual proof that you got to level 20 (a.k.a. screenshot).
i'm gonna quit. don't waste yourtime and money based on false information. first look, it was fine, but that's all.
That's odd. Because at level 20 you have an option of 2 brand new zones that open up, completely filled with quests and the introduction into the stigma system.
The hardest part, at least for me as Elyos, is the end of the Verteron campaign where I'm killing Krall, after Krall, after Krall...
Aside from that, getting into Eltnen and being somewhere plush and full rifts makes it completely worth it. And if I feel I don't want a rift war... I go to Theobomos where there's no rifts and is pure PvE.

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...
I somewhat agree to the OP, got a sorcerer on level 20 and I've gotten quite bored on the game, might be fun for some, but for anyone who have been a hardcore WoW player in the past, I just can't see how anyone can choose this over wow, I will atleast try to get the sorc to level 30 and tryout the pvp, I don't expect too much from it though.
For some getting to max lvl in the first few days may be what you are after.... there's WoW for that... This game is not WoW-- and its definately NOT an "Asian" f2p grinder either. Its more like EQ (in the exp department) You had to put time into your character, you had to rely on others for exping. This game will force a community amoungst us. Whats so wrong with that?
You sound as if you want to rush to max lvl.. then you'd complain it was too easy and you are bored with the "beginner" zones anad rerolling would be too painful. Theres sooo much more out there-- go find it. Have you found rifts? Have you done any instances?
To each his own I suppose, I for one am looking forward to the "work" involved in lvling a character. Theres enough out there in the game to keep me busy and not bored.

I really hope it does build a strong community. One thing I'm not a fan about in the newer trend of MMOs is that everything is 100% solo. This builds a segregated community, and people only join up for the "elite" quests and then quickly disband.
Imo, every quest should be "elite" while still maintaining a very small amount of solo content so you are never trapped "LFG" as can be the case in FFXI.
/end rant
I look forward to playing Aion at launch! This open beta has been really fun so far.

The OP makes the game sound so awesome! Do you work for the devs?

OP probably wants an MMO you can solo, and doesn't see anything wrong with wanting that. ~grin~

One man, a small pile of money, and the screwball idea of a DIY Indie MMORPG? Yep, that's him. ~sigh~
