Hi guys . I am from Australia . ATM i have and ADSL2+ connection with local carrier TPG , My speedtest results are 11mbs download with 25ms ping. When i log into Aion my average ping is b/w 650 and 700. Just wandering what sort of ping you guys are getting On NA serevers? Lastly my fore mentioned ping would make pvp hopeless in OB . Do you think on release the ping will improve? Otherwise i might as welll pack my bags now if i am stuck with this latency on release.
Cheers.

sometimes i have pings of 1000+ms or so high i dont even get a response for 20-30 seconds but somehow dont manage to get disconnected from the server.
Other times i have sub 100ms ping. I dont know if your ping will improve upon release as it just may be a distance thing from their servers but in general most people are having high ping issues atm while they adjust their server which will most likely be fixed upon release im guessing.
I'm sure it'll improve to some degree by launch. if it's not to at least around 200ms for me by then, though, I may just have to pass this one by after all.
Atm in OB, my average ping is around 900-1000ms. I rubberband like crazy and it's unplayable.
Interesting question. I'm on the NA servers and I'm located in the US, on ADSL.
On Sunday morning I could not log in at all before noon, which was probably the mad initial rush. Sunday night I logged in without difficulty and with quite low ping times (<200ms).
Monday morning I had --serious-- lag issues (700-1200ms) that cleared up around noon, and they have been almost non-existent since. When lag on my server cleared up, I was booted from the server, my game options were reset, and many other people said they experienced the same thing. I think -something- was done on the server side.
My pings today are below 100ms. I'm at least 1,100 miles / 1800km from the NA servers.
EU here, about 60ms steady. Never have any lag or rubberbanding, but a guy i played with had serious problems with both.
