Asmodian Female voice

in Aion

Anyone else but me find the Female Asmodian "scream" rather annoying? By "scream" I mean the sound they make when they attack etc.

 

I remember back in CB  this didn't bother me at all, only because I (surprisingly) liked the korean ones already even though they could get a little annoying.

 

Is there a way to disable the "scream" they make? I've tried the sound but there's only an option for disabling casting skill sounds or something similar to that.

    or just disable all sounds and listen to some suffocation?

    I would except I LOVE the music and sound effects of Aion. I just really dislike the Asmodian Female voice, it just doesn't...fit? I prefer the Korean ones alot more haha.

    the sounds and music is awesome but I got sick of it and turned on some carcass instead heh

    Hehe I think I know the one you mean there are actually multiple voices available at char creation some are a little more bearable.

    I chose the seductive voice for my mage

    sounds hot

    Haha no I know about the voice selection when you create your character.

     

    For instance: I made an assasin and everytime I used her slash attack (can't remember exact name) she would make that DREADFUL sound. Oh well, I mean something this silly won't keep me away from Aion but I guess I'll just have to bear with it.

    With any luck in the future they'll add a "disable voices" option or something, but for now you pretty much have to rough it out

    The voice influences the attack sounds also :)

     

    A different voice may not have that same sound associated with bit of trial and error and during OB may be needed to find the voice right for you come launch :)

     

    I now have body, head, hair, slider positions and voice number jotted down on a notepad for my 3 toons I will be creating come Pre Selection a day of fun in the creator during OB and some testing of the voices,  Im still sure I'll end up tweaking it some though :)
