Okay, so, while I am -not- bashing MMORPG, there are a few which I enjoy, quite a deal actually. I have found that most casual MMOs, and actually, most MMO that have the same lame autoattack, and click random hotkeys combat bore to absolute tears.
Simply wondering on your opinion, I would assume this is likely due to the fact I come from modern-day Action Games/Action RPG, and Single-Player RPG where you're the hero?
I wont lie, when I first came to newer MMO (I loved Ultima Online, i'm talking WoW, ect), it was fun for a bit, at first, I admit I did not read the Quest Dialog, I admit that was a problem on my part, but I retried a second time, and it was just so.. bland, it seemed like hours of meaningless text when they could simply put some witty dialog, and the quest objective.
Honestly, you could be trying to do something (Just an example!) , like saving a hostage in a dire situation, and you'd have 7 paragraphs of text about minor details that do not matter at -all-.
So basically, I guess i'm curious if you think it's that, or just.. MMOs aren't for me? I personally enjoy Ultima Online even still (Though old UO was much better), and some Action-MMORPG also.
