Yep, they most certainly do segregate geographically, and I'm not sure Columbia is on the radar anywhere at this point in time.

I've always thought it was Colombia.
Anyways. Different regions get published at different times for different reasons.
Well i didn't even pay attention to "Columbia", most ppl are ignorant, and they think Columbia district in USA is the same that ColOmbia (country), when they hear colombia, they only think "ohh there are drugs there, mmm, drugs...." the fact is that I've never ever seen any kind of drugs near me, and most of the ppl i know dont use them, i only knew a friend that used them specially pod but he lived all his life in canada, so yeah, poor people here produce them, violent ppl here sold them, they became rich and fool ppl in other countries use them...

Well it was funny, when i went to high school in USA, i was in a geography class and there was this little dumb girl that was asked to locate "Columbia" in a world map and she started searching for it in Africa, then she passed trough asia, even in europe, finally in Latin America and she couldn't find it...
What does your drugs story have to do with not being able to play?

Aion china is published my a third party company(SDO) Whereas the NA and EU Aion is published by NCsoft itself, different publisher (business) different rules

Well it is like a reflex, every time im in a conversation in a mmorpg and the ppl ask me "where are you from" and i say "Colombia", they say oh Columbia, there are lots drugs in there.. so i just anticipated and wrote the answer...
wow hot topic, lots of replys =D... anyway, its not only aion, it happened to me in many other games and beta tests, so its jsut the drop that spilled the glass....
and the other problem is that i was trying to convince some friends to play this game and we where waiting for the open beta so we could try latency, performance, and gameplay, ty God i didn´t bought it or I'd be playing alone in a brave new world.
I dont know, Ive read brazilian people are playing this game, and people from Venezuela. Go to aion-esp.com and ask there, im sure you'll find Colombians there to share your experience with them.
I live in Singapore, and i bought the NA version, and i have no problem playing in OB now.
Maybe you should check which version you get?

I´m from Brasil and I can play with no problems.....
I see that the message you are getting "Your access to the closed beta event has been denied due to Country restrictions." is related to CLOSE BETA so maybe you forgot to update your client.
And there is always the proxy trick to cheat the country restriction.

Quit complaining. If you could play in China, continue to play there until the game is made available in your location. It's unfortunate that you're unable to login but the fact that you're putting yourself up as a comparison to African Americans in pre-affirmative action American is reprehensible at best.
