Group-centric game?
I'm looking for a fantasy MMO, that has a good amount of difficulty involved. I don't want to just autopilot through encounters with one button macros (slight exaggeration, but you get the idea).
I'd also like it to focus on group play in PvE. Lately I've found a large lack of "multi" in the multiplayer games.
It should also have a population that can sufficiently support the group play. Having to solo most of the way to end-game because there are no groups your level is just silly and boring.
Graphics-wise, i'm not too picky, I'll play an 8-bit game if it has deep gameplay and content, but I do sort of lose my lunch when I see things like cutesy little panda heads poking out of black, spikey plate armor.
I'm losing hope, can somebody help me find something to fit that list?

Lots of people since it just re-launched with a new Free to play model.
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
Yeah, DDO is very group centric, and without grouping it's not as fun, or as easy later on.
FFXI. Pretty difficult game and DEFINITLY a group game. Group to level, group to raid, group for quests etc. Thats not to say there aren't solo games but this is definitly a group game.
