From what I've heard I don't think there's going to be a new patch today, and if there is, you should wait until about 1 hour before preselect, because the preselect process takes place at 12PM PST.
ahhh crap.....if they bring out the new patch 1hr before the preselect then there is no way im gonna make it.....i cannot download massive sized patch in 1 hour =( all good names gonna get taken
I just left the NCsoft launcher running that way if the patch comes out while AFK it will automatically start the download, thats about all you can do to catch it right when it hits.

it's most likely just a few megs... it's not a content patch, just patching out gameguard etc.
Doesn't the patch come out when you're able to create your characters?
