Error 1024

Just got my lappy all set up. Running Vista Ult X64. No Firewall, Avast Free/Home Edition. 9800M GTS....

Not sure why its tossing this error everytime. I tried switching the lang to english but its already in english. I tried german and french and then back to english as well. Still getting the launcher error. Should I reinstall?

You say you selected english , need to make sure u unselect German/French if they are checked aswell .

I unchecked Germand and French just now. Same error. It does not specify whether it is a gameguard error or not. Now that I think of it, I dont ever see any indications that gameguard ever runs? Maybe its just me.

Reinstalling the game. Hope this works :-/

reinstall worked. Possibly has to do with the steam version perhaps?

if you read the news you will see that gameguard is not active anymore it will not be going out with the aion launch and they wont use it untill they find a way to use it properly or find something else
