yeah, they definitly get that people want this...

I would love to see guild halls at the same time.. maybe a private instance that contains both, with harvest resources.. (kinda like AoC, but, obviously, better)

If they decide to make the housing like AoC, it probably wont be coming out any time soon, who knows maybe with the first xpac, if they decide the quick way it would probably be more like EQ2 where everyone can rent a house/apartment type place and decorate it how they want and have a storage place.

Maybe not, but you seem to speak it well. (:

First, I think it's great when you and others have fun playing Aion. That's the point of the game.

Saying "Aion powns all!!!" makes absolutely no sense. First, Aion is by far not perfect. There is lots and lots of stuff about it that many people dislike and why they won't play it, and prefer other games instead. Second, because many MMORPGs are so different from each other, that it is impossible for a single one to target all audiences with equal success.

Also, "probably housing the future"? The game world ain't designed for that, so if there will be housing it will be instanced, which in my opinion sucks. If I want to be able to have a house ingame, I want to either build it whereever I want to, or have it in some city or something, or at least be part of the world somehow. And not be my private dungeon. Also, everyone keeps saying Aion is a PvP game, and to me, housing makes most sense in a PvE game, where you interact more with the environment and less with other players. It's same as if there would be housing in TF2. It just doesn't make sense. In PvE focused games I could imagine that you could craft stuff for your houses, put trophies of killed monsters in there, hang up photos (aka screenshots) or something. But for a PvP focused game? What for?

Also, why should housing be the reason that Aion would be superior to other games? Other games already have housing, and in a way that is superior to any way how it could be implemented into Aion (read: not in special instanced areas but actually as part of the game world).

Don't want to spoil the fun. If Aion is fun for you, great. If they will implement housing and you will like it, even better. But there is no way Aion will "pown" all.

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

Ya down with housing in PvP game. I'm glad UO didn't have housing. PvP MMO is a lot different than TF2. Your comparison doesn't work for me. So the trolling fails........

ok sorry thats right it doesn't pown wow because of the subs.. I keep forgetting something .... and house makes perfect sence... just something simple, and fun, and invite friends...  More likly be in the city somewhere, and in EQ2 I believe you could set it so anyone can enter anytime... They might do something like that... And where would you like to build it? In the abysse? On top of a npc? or some other building? Same reason you do it for pve for fun and invite people. Your nothing but a party pooper. Go poop some other thread....  Dont poop mine!

Umm are you insane, UO didnt have housing? lol yea it did, and personally I favor their type of housing to the instanced type of housing. Id rather the houses be in the game world and not on some random server where you can't see anything outside and there are no windows.

Hmm...to me houseing makes great sense in a PvP game. Something that can be destroyed and looted, and rebuilt and defended better next time ;p

Yeah, not sure what trolling he's talking about. I'm still on the fence over buying this game, though housing makes it sound even more awesome. I kinda want to wait and see how far out SWTOR is so I know I can at least play the heck out of this game before the other launches.

For SWTOR, I personally can't see it being released until atleast Q4 of 2010 maybe early 2011, so id bet on atleast having a year to play Aion.
