Thanks for the link. I prefer to watch in-game video over trailers when checking out games on my potential wish list.

Not sure what to make of it really. I want to see more people on screen interacting to really make a call. I'm guessing the group event you saw there is instanced? As in once you're in, everybody else stays out?
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
Haven't these been posted multiple times already?
Thanks for the link!

Looks like single player mostly. Nice to see full blown cut scenes and NPC interaction in a MMO like Mass Effect, but I need to see more massive elements. The overall animation, except for light saber swings needs work as well. Its pretty stiff and poor. Theres plenty of skating while running and walking also. The feet don't stick to the ground. The art is nothing special either. Kind of generic really with a little hint of the clone wars cartoon's angular chins. Can't pin an actual style to any of it. Not memorable. That was some goofballish looking armor too.
I still can't get over lightsabers needing multiple hits to kill anything in a SW game. Its a light saber. The only thing that stops it is another light saber=) Its a one shot kill or limbs are flying off;) Its the lore. It makes no sense otherwise and looks goofy. Sure its technically overpowered but its a light saber;) It is what it is. Otherwise its just a glowing sword, no different from WOW or any other fantasy game where you hit something 4 or 5 times to kill it. Its an immersion breaker. Might as well call it laser sword#156.
Josher hit on something there that I kind of felt too. It feels to me like they took KOTOR and crossed it with Mass Effect and this is what we got. The whole time while I watched those videos it just felt like a co-op game that you'd play with a buddy. The whole idea of a story driven game just doesn't parlay well into a MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER type game, at least to my sensibilities. You know that people are going to bitch regarding which choice to pick so that they can get that awesome purple light saber that doesn't cut people in half like it's supposed to all the while the other person will choose the other option either out of spite or personal gain and I can see now that there will be many problems and eventually everybody will just have their own choice somehow and it will just be released as a single player game

The way most MMORPGs have gone solo these days, co-op is starting to look good.
Oh, don't get me wrong I'm all for co-op play. In fact my friends and I keep looking for games where co-op is available and lately we've been looking into older games. The sticking point with me is that I'm not inclined to pay for a game concept that I've enjoyed for free for the past decade.

No kidding. As long as theres no monthly fee, I'd buy a better version of Mass Effect in a SW universe with a co-op mode. Hmmm=) Maybe thats the plan all along?
Meh, not impressed.
I REALLY do not like the dialog system. I never read quests in other MMOs because I honestly care little for small lore tidbits. Just tell me what to kill/gather/talk to and where to turn in everything. Don't bog down the game with long conversations.

Hell yaz, we don't want no stinking RPG in our MMORPGs.

Games with no depth is what you are looking for, have fun.
I think it'd be funny to force people like that to play through the collected works of Bioware.

Perfect torture for kids suffering from ADD.
I'm not paying a monthly fee for a co-op game.
I'm impressed. Smuggler looks much more interesting than I thought it would. I'm really excited for this release. Thanks for the post.
I'm the opposite, I like the two Empire classes but see nothing special in the Republic classes... which is probably good or we'd all be playing the same class.
This mentality is why mmos are in such a sorry state these days. Kill, kill, kill...gimme my sparkly reward!!!
/sigh
So, what? You pay a monthly fee for single player games?
