Whats the worst MMORPG out there hands down

I find that we all spend time glorifying the good games while we flame each other for our opinions, which can be fun if taken light hearted.  But here is one for you what is the absolute worst MMO that you have played.  Me personally I hated earth and beyond "la la la im fighting giant space goo and debree la la la" I am patiently awaiting for the new great game "board in a box"  It will be great we will all git a little piece of plywood for 50 dollors with a small USB connection so we can all collectivly get on line and whack ourselves in the face.  but wait it gets better in about 6 months when the fun of that wears out there will be an expansion pack out that gives us new things to put on our board like spikes and sandpaper.  It will be great wait till you see the power lvlrs in this game they will even make bots so that we can whack ourselves in the face while we sleep to get that almighty next lvl.  So everyone hurry up and sign up for beta but watch out the boards tend to splinter in this stage of development, but hey thats beta it will be the best out there trust me. image

    SWG way over hyped and still not finished after 12 months.

    EQ2 way over hyped ... does any one else see a pattern here?

    Its bound to be good, its from the same company that produced Everquest? Erm no SOE didnt make Everquest...

    that is ture.  I never did read anything about what happened to verrant (how ever you spell it) but they were they were the ones who made it right. It is a shame that no one remembers where eq came from

    Im tempted to say Eve Online for its "make your own fun by ganking noobs" approach, but probably the worst is Rubies of Eventide (original beta test). Ugh.

    I have a very limited "Online" experience - so I can only look at the ones I have played but IMHO Final Fantasy VI really was the most BORING game I have ever played.

    Granted I only got a white mage and red mage up to level 25 but OMG it was the most PAINFUL level grind of all time.

    I simply do not understand how people enjoy that one, but to each his own.

    i cancelled my subscription to FFXI about a week and a half ago but i plan on going in game to give my gil away and stuff to a noob or someone that i bump into at least someone will benifit from my time out of it.  I hate being forced to get in a group to make any progress and that is the only way that I was able to lvl sure i could solo but it was taking me over a week during solo versus 3 lvls a night with a group hmmm that just sucks but the game looked great but I so does a painting and other things.

    Warning about FFXI!

    If you decide to cancel your account, make sure you keep your playonline ID, and your username and passwords written down somewhere where you KNOW you will have it.  If you decided you want to play ffxi for any reason again after 3 months of not playing, you will have to REBUY the game.  I lost my playonline ID and I still had the registration key so I figured I would call square enix and let them find my playonline ID from the key.  They could not do it.  After almost an hour of argueing with him, I finally got him to admit that it is a horrible policy and there is nothing he, or his manager can do about it.  It is a policy passed over from Japan.  The policy is after 3 months of a nonactivated account, it is deleted from the database.  This means that not only is your registration code deleted, but also your playonline id, and all your info.  the guy told me if I wanted to play ffxi again, I would have to buy the game all over again!

    Yeah I heard about that with the FFXI and I only cancelled my content ID not the PlayonlineID but i doubt that i will go back to it anyways but you never know when i might get bored and feel like blowing some money to have something to do for a month

    And as far as I know with the lead pipe that is up in the air right now but i do know that there are different types of wood you start out with pine for your newbie stages and then when you become a seasoned veteran you move up to ash and oak and the likes of those but when you become uberLeet you get "petrified wood of the smackith downith" and of course there is massive customization like different paint schemes and carvings and even wood burning designs on itand optional styles of handle grips it is so cool I can not wait to whack my face with the 3/4" plywood lvls oh im drooling image

    so your saying theres practially unlimited customization and massive grinding, damn it sounds like a mmo both western and eastern gamers can agree upon

    one more question is BiaB going to have pvp?

    RuneScape by a large margin...

    2nd would have to be Rubies of Eventide... that game was just simply horrid...

    3rd... Savage Eden... im suprised we actually have a forum for that crap...

    CoH - this game being a prime example of the "less is more" design philosophy. When will people realize that less is really less.

    * Note - I never played Horizons and L2. But SWG I will give an honorable mention.

    I agree with Pynda's assessment that CoH's treatment of gameplay ends up being a "less is less" scenario, but I also completely agree that to call it "worst" is fairly absurd.

    These kinds of opinions are subjective. I can only tell you that I was bored to death with CoH after four or five days of pre-order beta. And that I still have an unopened CoH box gathering dust on my shelf. Perhaps a more accurate assessment would have been that I have played TOO many MMORPG's. Or that trifles like a fancy character creator count for very little with me.

    My list of MMORPG's played (in order of enjoyment derived). Those below the line I consider an absolute waste of my time and money.

    AC1 (4 years)
    AO (1/2 year)
    ------------------
    DaoC ( 4 mos.)
    SWG (1 mos.)
    CoH (5 days)

    Well "board in a box" will of course have PvP that is why it will be the best game of all time just think of using the thief line of skills with it like back whack.  But I have just got an e-mail from the developers that in the collectors edition you will get the great shovel of ouch that hurt.  Man I can not wait for that one.  Oh yeah the Brawlers will be able to duel weild so you can get do a double shovel whack oh yeah that is going to rule all othersimage

    Worst MMORPG? Either Toon Town or Furcadia.

    Toon Town - not my kind of gameplay

    Furcadia - basically a big chat room with mini games and areas to explore
