in Star Wars Galaxies

So ive read something about a new thing in SWG about starting at 50 or something, is this true? And also is this game gonna die once SW TOR comes out? I liked the game when i played it but i aint gonna pay for an acount if its gonna die in no time.

    Here's the info on the Star Wars Galaxies Galactic Buddy Initiative

    Both Lucas Arts and SoE have commented recently in the press that SWG will continue long after TOR is released.  SWG will be the Everquest to TOR's Everquest 2, largely because SWG offers a lot of unique gameplay and features not seen in most mainstream and emerging MMORPGs.

    Thiers still alot of people on the populated servers, I would look into which ones are.   Some will be closing down soon.   Start at 50?  I read something about that guess its true.   Leveling sucks on SWG these days, I havnt leveled a toon in years, and pity anyone that does.   Not to put you off the old system was differnt, it was made fast with groups, and the game had 30+ proffessions back then.     The game has alot to offer for a player for about 2 years, game play wise.    It takes time to be the best in SWG.    Alot of refining, the best place to figure out SWG is on Test Center, thier you can level a toon up to 90 with a click of a button.    And then figure out what works best for you.    

    Oh and Badger this is the same Bullseye on Sunrunner.   The server is fun, I had a few good years on thier.   Only problem I have is 99% of the old crowd is gone and what is left I wouldnt call hardcore gamers.  But thier good people they mean well, but anyone that could organize people left long ago.    Maybe you can get some spirit into the server.
