Darkfall? FE? Neocron? ...? help!
Hey guys,
I was playing WoW for quite a wile and after it started to suck (2 years ago) I couldn't realy find a game thats fun for me.
Liked Neocron2 but it is dead and read a lot of good stuf about Darkfall, but it is dieing as I read in the DF forums...
So I'm looking for something new, got my hands on FE for 2-3 hours only in beta so I didn't realy get to see it, but I'm looking for something like Neocron. Open PvP anywhere and PKing like in Neocron, wouldn't mind if it was Fantasy like WoW or realistik like *gamename* or futuristic like Neocron. I definetly just cant stand that PvE instance thing like in WoW anymore... meet on wednesday and walk through the Instances. Don't want a game like UO with crapy grafiks. Wouldn't mind if its got old grafiks but nothing 2d or browsergame. Short viewed AION but like Forums say they can't even handle theyr german servers so I didn't even check on PvP or funparts of PvE. Individualism on Skills and not like choose Mage, be mage (WoW style) would be a bonus too.
so please, help!

Pvp wise i think darkfall would be a better choice for you but from the FE forums it seems like we have a bunch of people from neorcron.
darkfall... If you read any forums you get the feel that the game is emptying out and will die soon... dunno about spending 50$ for a game with no players or am I wrong?
A lot of people want to see Darkfall fail because its a diffrent game than the standard MMO and its not their taste. Darkfall is a growing game, I see new people in it every day. I also see players almost everywhere I go. I can no longer go to any player city without 20 - 30 players responding to kill my group during NA prime time hours.

Throwing my hat in the ring to give FE a try. I was in the closed alpha, played for a short while while the game needed a LOT of work, and faded away. My loss though, as the game has turned out wonderfully, and has been well worth the $50 price tag.
While there isn't open PVP everywhere, there are many sectors for it and I look forward to getting involved myself. The crafting system is huge, nearly daunting, and is a blast to take part in. The FPS based combat is a huge plus; getting away from the auto lock, hotkey mashing, ridiculousness.
A great game that still needs a little bit of ironing out, but it's been one of the smoothest launches I've seen in a long while.
bought fallen earth now... well yesterday. Now I'm waiting for ever to play becouse I cant subscribe coz clickandbuy bank account verification didn't arive yet... realy sux but maybe tomorow.. *dreaming*

Whatever you have gotten yourself into, get out of it now. Cancel the purchase, ask for a refund, whatever it takes.
From the sound of things you haven't played a lot of MMOs but I have and I've run across these "Click and Buy" guys before. They are a very shady third party billing company which often makes "errors" in favor of the MMO company they work for and NOT in favor of the customers. They were the billing company for a very crappy MMORPG called Dark and Light a few years back. They started charging subscription fees from people who had canceled during the beta testing. They refused to give refunds. They even kept charging people month after month when they had asked multiple times to have their accounts closed. People had to have their credit card numbers changed just to get away from these guys. These were just a few of many reasons why Dark and Light sucked, its creators were sued into oblivion and the game itself shut down with no explanation one day.
If you want to read more about it there is an article about the billing "errors" right here on MMORPG.com. I use the word "errors" in quotes like that because many former DnL players like myself always suspected that the "errors" were not a mistake but an intentional effort to get as much money as possible out of customers before the game went out of business. The devs of that game were liars and scammers who knew their game was crap and that it was never going to live up to the hype they created for it. I don't know how involved in that scam ClickandBuy was but I sure as hell wouldn't trust them with my billing information ever again.

well it's the only way for me to pay for FE becouse I don't own a credit card and they will just charge it of my account, but I can still call my money back within 2 weeks so if they do any shit with my bank account I'll just call it back and tell the bank not to let them pick up any more. No problem
And realy, if they would be scamming big style they already would have been sued for thousands and thousands of dollars. I'd say it was more on the side of Dark and Light that they didn't tell ClickandBuy that the account was closed to scam some more money.
Is ClickandBuy the only billiing option for the game or just the only option for you because you don't have a credit card? Are there other options for people with credit cards?
Either way man, I would be careful about this. Maybe it was all the DnL devs and ClickandBuy just got caught up with them without knowing what was up... But I still wouldn't trust them with my credit card info. And the idea of giving them my bank account info makes me want to crap my pants. I would rather throw myself off a bridge. Into lava. Acid lava.

The other option would be to give the devs my creditcard infos. Only those 2 options. I realy would feel better if they would be using paypal or something I already know like some of the trustfull options in WoW. That was in fact one of the few good parts about WoW 
But i'm already looking for a new game for over 9 months. Playing a couple of houres in every beta and F2P game I can find and then being bored again and realy hoping that FE will be fun for quite a wile so i'm willing to take the risk... Even if they would steal 50$ of me it would still be cheaper than being bored becouse when you're bored you realy spend a lot of money on a lot of other useless shit!
I personally use Paypal to pay for my sub, and I also used it for the client. I don't know much about this other payment option you're using, so I can't comment there.
The game has had an overall highly successful week; possibly TOO successful as the servers strain to hold everyone. Servers are down currently until noon EST to upgrade the server farm they say, so here's hoping that once I get home it'll be even better.
So far I've enjoyed my first week in game; even got some PVP in. Performed rather well there, even when our group was ganked by a lone gunman twice our level. Good times.

It isn't dying, thats just want the Mortal Online die-hards want you to think. Darkfall is a great game, you should definitely play it.
